OK, tattoos are permanent but what about getting branded? I always wanted to know lol

The burn would go away, but there should be a scar.

Tattoos CAN be removed, but it is extremely exspensive. Being branded? Haha. Why? But yes, a scar would still remain in the place.

The branding appears as a scar, that's the whole point.
A good branding off the top of my head is Steve-O's heart-shaped brand on his chest. It just looks like a scar, in the shape of a heart outline.

I fail to see the allure of applying something red hot to your body in order to have a permanent scar to show off.. go set yourself on fire instead.. that'd be something to talk about, should you live to tell the tale..

lol, and what's the point of sticking bits of metal through yourself, or making huge holes in your ears or face you can stick your fingers through? It's body modification, that's all, all the same thing really. Stupid, yes, but i see the lure.

I think it's the pain aspect... I can handle piercings and tattoos... but burns? nope... not this girl...

I am going to get a branding one day.

I know that tattoos CAN be removed, but I was j/w about burns because I saw on TV these dudes got branded and it wasnt like that one up there^^ it was like this lumpy disgusting mark left on them and I wanted to know if it would go away or stay forever

I think Ima sick with my tattoos for now. The smell of burning flesh and being covered in scars does absolutely nothing for me.

Just imagine you grab your partners bum in a great moment - and run your fingers through the beef branding scar...
Such a turn-off!

To each their own. There are those who would consider it quite arousing. Although, to my understanding it is something more for the person receiving it than the partner.

alright cuz(es). you can get branded by hot iron, but they also do this thing thats refered to as human branding in which they cut away the top (couple?) layer(s) of skin using a medical scalpel. when it "heals" it looks like a depressed scar. Burnside, you must live somewhere out there even my little midwestern town has a licensed brander.
