Cat Dogs So sorry if this has already been posted, I couldn't find a topic about it.
Personally, I think this is a hoax. What do you guys think?

I voted for howler. Why she may even believe those are the cats real, umm, Pups, it's extremely implausable for a Cat to be impregnated by a Dog. Not just implausable, practically (but not quite) impossible.
Still, maybe they're mutant kits, or maybe, just maybe, theyr'e real. *shrugs*

It said that the kitty ones died, if anything surely it would have been the hybrids who died?
Hybrids can occur like, with donkeys and horses or whatever but I have never heard of it with cats and dogs.
It was in some newspapers here too, it's big news apparently.

It's called mechanical isolation. It is physically impossible for cats and dogs to interbreed. Also, they have different numbers of chromosomes.

I would think that with cats and dogs being kept in close proximity for many, many years, this surely would have happened before now huh?
I'm not sure about the genetic possibility, but my common sense says it's not possible or it would have occured already.
That being said though, they are quite cute huh?

There entirely different species of animal. It's impossible. Some things just don't mix. It's not even a well thought out hoax...

Fake, there's another piccy going around that shows the pups with the cat and the owners holding back their long haired dacshound who seemed quite concerned about the pups.........
