so, a lot of weird stuff has been happening around my house lately, the stove would turn on by itself along with the microwave, and sometimes when I weak up, i find scratches in my body, ,most likely in my arm, the scratches is been happening for a while now, and I thought it was normal, i don't know, can someone with more paranormal knowledge help me out or at least xplain to me to what is going on?

The scratches are from a demon, which you let into your home when you played with the Ojia board. Now your in big trouble. Break out the following:

1.cross
2.holy water
3.burn the sage
4. get new apartment

First rule out any electical problems you may have in your house. The glow bar in our stove shorted out and would come on by itself. Make sure you are not scratching in your sleep. Most dermatitis flares up at night for some reason and we scratch in our sleep.

If there is something else doing these things. Do not fear it. They feed on fear. Fear is your worst enemy not the entity. You must weild authority in your house and not allow the antics of an entity to tell you otherwise.

My light switch in the kitchen used to turn on and off by itself. Usually accompanied by faint voices. My solution was that it is my house and not theirs, so I told them to get the hell out and that their tricks do not scare me nor intimidate me. The activity stopped and I have not had any problems since.

I feel authority wins over these things rather than relying on religious ceremony. Good luck!

Are there usually this many scratching threads posted in quite short time? Just wondering if anyone has bothered collating the info and noticed a seasonality to it - maybe related to bed pests or the like.

Not saying people aren't being clean etc. It's notoriously difficult to stop beds becoming infested with mites and such. I read somewhere online (I'll try to find the source) that, after 10 years, a mattress doubles in weight due to the dead skin, hair, dust, mites and associated droppings etc accumulated.

Reminds me to buy a new mattress soon.

Scratches started appearing on my upper and lower arms when I was pregnant with my first child. They would usually appear during the night but started to appear during the day. I would feel a burning sensation then the red welts would appear. Once I gave birth, they stopped. That was nearly 8 years ago and they have since started happening through the night again. It doesnt freak me out, I would just like to find out why this is happening and what the reason for it is. Any clues?

any possible connections between this and another montly visitor(a natural one)? the hormonal fluctuations associated with pregnancy and PMS seem to be a posssible link......b

If they are red welts ,that could be Dermographism.I had that for many years,Over it now though,but when you have it even laying on the wrinkles on your sheets can cause huge red welts.It did on me.

Just a tip on Dermographism.Avoid anything that boosts the immune system and cut back on your Vit.C intake.

I think the problem warrants investigation, but by no means does that make it paranormal.
I believe that "scratches" mean very little unless you notice them or recieve them in a hostile manner. If you woke up with them after horrific nightmares that would be one thing, but in the course of a normal nights sleep, I wouldn't sweat it.
I had a bad experience myself once. Woke up scared out of my wits, burning all over, being bit by something. Would you believe fire ants in my room, due to the proximity of my master bathrooms water pipes leading all the way downstairs to the foundation? Lemme tell you, finding 50 or 60 fire ants in your bed at 3AM is a mean wake-up call.

I have been reading a lot about people being scratched. I personally have sat not more than 3 feet from a guy and I watched the scratches form, and bleed. Did he cause it? Did something else cause it? These are unknowns at this time and I would really like to hear about other stories like this so perhaps a good possible theory could be worked out.
(And I can confirm that this guy did not have a skin disease.)

First of all dont panic. I would have an electrician check to make sure there is not a short somewhere that causes the electrical problems. Secondly, I have woken up with scratches many times on my arms, face and neck. But I believe I probably scratch during the night, from mosquitos, dry skin etc or during a dream. These are very common occurrances and not paranormal. If an entity scratched you thru the night, it would hurt and wake you. It could be a medical issue, so good idea to see a Dermatologist. Once you have performed those two procedures, everything is fine medically and electrically, then you may want to see some help and have your house blessed, you and any children in the house. Can you clarify something please? Welts are bumps, hives, things of that nature. Scratches are entirely different.

I find it very strange that someone waking up with scratches would assume that its paranormal.

My mystery bruises ended up being sleepwalking and violent thrashing while I slept. I was so worried a good friend did me a favor and watched me sleep for a few nights after months of being tired and bruised and feeling like maybe I was losing my mind. I was not only walking and talking for a good portion of the night but thrashing my arms and legs around and hitting walls and furniture with them while I was in my bed. I never woke up anywhere weird that would lead me to believe I was even sleepwalking and banging up my arms and legs never woke me up during the night.

I would look into a possible sleep disorder before I called a priest for an exorcism.

If you have ever had welts from an allergic reaction or dermagraphism,when the intitial swelling of the welt goes down you are left with a red mark that looks like a scratch.

You could have either combined with a demon and strange crap is happening or you could just have a demon in your house.
My friend used to wake up with scratches on him sometimes. one time he woke up with the star of david on his stomach. He also had the word vampire written around his ankle.
I know no one wrote it for him he has no one to do that. I also know no matter how slow he writes, his writting won't look like that what was written on him.
