Im really bored with my current pc games and I'm short of money, does anyone know of any good freeware games for the PC. Preferable ones which will keep me occupied for a while...

Personally I'm hooked on YSFlight 2000. It's a freeware flight sim. The graphics are kind of awful, but it runs fast and has waaay more planes than Microsoft Flight Sim has ever had.

Graphics are aged, but the gameplay and a better storyline and relevance with today's paranoia and conspiracy ridden world you will not find. As a young person hooked on gaming, you really should play the one title that has been recommended by every major and minor gaming publication around the world for years. Even today, mature gamers still mention it when rating games and making comparisons.

^ shooter you can go through the whole game without firing one shot.
Cave Story is a good free pc game probably best free pc game you'll ever play.
If your willing to spend cash try freespace 2, homeworld 2, freelancer. i got more but i have go i will edit later.
