My dad was tellin me this story and it sounded so creepy!! My dad is a christian and he used to go to this christian college that was like a boarding school! Anyway 1 sabbath he was with some of his mates and they were listening to rock music. (ur not meant to listen to rock music on the sabbath) anyway suddenly my dad felt bad about it and he told them to turn it off! His friends didn't want to turn it off so they kept listening to it. But then it was lunch time so they had to turn it off. This is the freaky part. They turned off the radio but the music still kept playing. Worried they took out the batteries but the music was still playing. Freaked out dad grabbed the radio and smashed it to the ground breaking it into a million peices. The music still played. Dad and his mates totally freaked then and ran out of the room.
Freaky huh?? All i know is i would hate for that to happen to me!!

That'd be freaky if it was the same song like a broken disk yeah. But if it was one of my favorite CD's I wouldnt care where it came from

the music came from another source, not the radio that your dad smashed.

I agree with Ashiene. The music couldn't came from that radio. I think, this story is plainly invented.

Good story. You know your dad better than us and how likely he would be just to make it up. If you think it happened then just guessing because of the place, it may have been a spirit that was sent off there in life for discipline now sending the message to the group that it was ok to be young and have harmless fun on any day of the week.

I'll listen to rock music whenever I want to. Exept Christmas morning, it just doesn't feel right. I think your dad was just trying to discourage you from listening to rock music.

Many Christains have labled it as "the devils music", particlairly when it was just starting to appear.

Hi Tekka:
I'm curious, do you remember or can you ask your dad if that was the only strange thing that happened while he was living at the Christian boarding school?

My computer at one point froze in the middle of a song by ACDC and it played half a word over and over again. My friend pressed the reset button on the computer. Nothing happened. I pushed the power button. Nothing happened still. We flicked the power of at the wall. Still playing. Then we pulled the plug out of the power point.
It was a constant surge through the power point that made it happen. We had to get an electrtion in to fix it. My god that pissed us off.

Tekka357,
You may appreciate my tale, as it's analogous to what you've described.
The weather has been stormy since early November where I live, so I joined a DVD rental service. I'm not proud to admit this, but I averaged 6 - 8 movies per week over the course of the 6 week membership. Of that alarming total, only two DVDs gave me the slightest difficulty. The titles were "Lord of War" and "Lords of Dogtown". Is the use of the term "Lord" blasphemous within the context of those films? Certainly. Was it divine intervention suggesting that I avoid such media? Who knows?
Edit: I forgot to point out that each film became pixelated and froze on two occasions. Both DVDs exhibited these errors within the same time frames.

Frank, why not try 'Lord Jim' and 'Little Lord Fauntleroy'? I'd love to know what happens.

Oh no, not 'Little Lord Fauntleroy'. If I had to see Ricky Schroeder on screen again at any stage of his life,
I may become pixelated and freeze.

well in my opinion why would you smash it? , it would be like a maricle you would never have to buy batteries again imagine how much money you would save

actually i read about a similar incident in a book exept it was with a lift , in an old abandoned building, it kept moving up and down by itself so they turned off the power supply to it, but still it kept moving, so they cut the cables and guess what i kept moving up and down, you dont have to believe this if you dont want to but i do and i find in comforting knowing there is more to life then what we think.

Oh, we have a juggalo roaming the UM boards? Cool.

There's more than one Juggalo that roams these boards.
Not everyone displays the Hatchetman.
