I got home from work at 2:00 am saturday morning and went to bed at around 4am. I didn't wake up till 7:00pm! I wouldn't have woken up unless my friend did. Heres a chronological event of my Saturday:
2:00 am: Got home from work.
2:00am-4:00 am: Hanged out with my friends at my house.
4:00am: Fell asleep.
??:??oclock: had a dream(don't remeber it).
??:??oclock: Woke up...didn't really know where I was then fell back asleep.
Sometime After Sunset on Saturday: Woke up and thought it was like 5am...went back to sleep. then had another dream.
7:00pm: My friend woke me up and told me it was 7pm but i didn't believe him because i was really tired and drowsy still...only felt like I slept a couple of hours. So i went down stairs and checked all the clocks because I thought my friends where messing with me.
I was confused the rest of the night, I missed a full day! I was still tired like I only slep a couple of hours. I wasn't exhasted when I fell asleep. I'm not a crack head either(i know someone is going to say it...I would). No past experiences ever nor any paranormal exsperiences either(someone would ask that too).
I don't think its anything paranormal but would really want to know what happened. I don't go to the doctors and theres no real need to.
I'm sure theres a reasonable explanation for this...was I kidnapped by aliens, missing time? (I kid)
Seriously though sleeping for 15 hours just doesn't happen.

I'm 18 years old so I don't think I have a huge growth spurt comming and it was a one time deal. I don't think I was sleep deprived either because this is the first time this has happened to me.
I could understand 12 hours if I was really tired but not 15!
Theres got to be a reasonable explanation...any doctors in the house?

Sometimes if you oversleep too much it will make you feel more tired than if you had gotten less sleep.

Our body's needs change over the years. Maybe you were more exhausted than you realized. If undisturbed, I can easily sleep for 15 hours plus -but then I love to sleep! Otherwise, could it be possible that one of your friends slipped you something?

Had you been feeling ill? If not, then perhaps your body was malnourished. Sometimes lacking important nutrients can significantly deprive your body of energy...

I could easily sleep for a couple of days straight if I let myself. I'm always tired. lol
But yeah it can be disorienting if you're not used to it.

I don't think I was malnurished because I eat the same amounts of food everyday. I wasn't sick....I guess it could have bin any number of factors.
I hope my friends didn't date rape me

:/
Remeber that story wher the guy fells asleep for like 100 years and woke up in the future? It felt kinda like that.

One time I slept 18 hours, and the next two night after that I slept 14. It was from exhaustion.

Maybe you weren't physically tired. but maybe mentally your brain was, so it put you in a deep sleep to repair/re-energise itself?
Or have you been stressing over something, maybe subconcousily your brain/mind was making you sleep to avoid 'thinking' 'stressing' about an issue?

Maybe you fell asleep later than you think? Check your friend's cameras tho for nekkid pics of yourself, just to be on the safe side.

One night, it was about 9:00 (I was real tired), I fell asleep like usual. But I woke up and looked at the clock. It said 9:00. I got up, went in the living room, and my mom said I had been asleep for 3 days! I ran to the bathroom and peed for about 4 minutes. lol. later on, my mom told me that I had a horrible fever.

Yeah, how long do you have to be in a coma to get some medical attention in that house? A week? Three days face down in the pillow burning with fever is business as usual? "Oh, he's only been unconscious a few days, he'll be fine, just throw a bucket of ice water on him every couple hours. Here, it's your turn to give him the suppositories. He'll be fine!" JESUS.

15 hours isn't that much. Back when I was suffering from sevre depression I would sleep from 12midnight until 6pm everyday.... the only reason I would wake up was for dinner and tv (and toilet.)
But seriously its most likely exhaustion. You may have felt fine but sometimes you just don't realise how tired you really are. A few weeks ago I went to bed at 10.30pm and didn't get up until 3pm. So that was a fair effort, I just must have been lacking sleep, like you were.

Mike is right , a loss of a few hours here and there will eventually take its toll and the body will have to make up...This is not uncommon AT ALL.

I think that you'd probably had relatively little sleep over the last few days, and your body was just making up for it.
I sometimes surprise myself when this occurs. I normally sleep 8 - 9 hours per night, but once in every while, usually when I haven't been sleeping enough or have been awake for a long time, I can sleep for 13 - 15 hours. Like you, I'll also wake up intermittently throughout this time. Also, like you, I tend not to feel particularly tired before I go to bed.

This is really odd, I’m at a total loss what could’ve happened… there is no doubt, this a real mystery.
I'd like to see the skeptics get out of this one! So, to all you oh so clever skeptics, what happened eh? what happened!

It is also possible that you have a sleep disorder.
I have sleep apnea and even if I sleep for a whole day then I feel tired. And trust me, every morning I have to force myself out of bed because I never feel like I had a refreshing sleep. The idea of staying in bed for days sounds appealing to me.
15 hours of sleep is not something to worry about. But, if it happens more often then you might want to talk to your doctor about it and be evaluated for sleeping disorders or as someone else already mentioned for depression.
Good luck!
Sincerely,
