Hi, a while ago I told someone about one of my experiences with dreams when I was younger.

I had the same dream about failing my piano exam twice in seperate years, which actually materialised. It was a heavy feeling coming along with an image of myself being crestfallen, sitting on the piano chair with my head tilted downwards in despair. One was probably in 1996, the other in 1998. Both happened during an afternoon nap, I was sleeping on a wooden flooring with just a bolster. And I was sweating when I woke up. I can guarantee the event was not induced by fear of it happening.

He said it probably had something to do with image preview. What's that? And is it true? If not, what was my dream all about?

Well I hate to play the devils advocate here - but outside of the dreams - did you also think you were going to fail this piano exam?? The dream might of been nothing more than a "manifiestation" of what you were actually expecting consciencly or un.

I know if I have some insecurity about something coming - I'll usually have a few dreams about it too - that's actually quite normal. I also have good dreams when I knew/know it's going to work out - that I have it 'down'...

You have seen your future and it wants you to study more.

Errr...I don't know if the future thingy is true. Anyway I never expected to fail my piano exams at that point of time. I failed only from 2000 onwards.
