I can't say for sure on where I stand on the 9/11 conspiracy or non conspiracy. I find compelling arguments on both sides. Both sides make great points and both sides have arguments that just don't add up. I didn't really want to get into that here because its been covered so extensively on other posts.
But no matter what side you are on you have to admit that its odd that after 5 years of searching we still haven't caught public enemy #1 Osama Bin Laden. Why? I'm just not sure I buy the whole idea that he's living in a cave in the middle of some of the most barren country on the planet with a potentially life threatening kidney disease. One report I heard was that he was on hemodialysis (now I'm no expert on the matter so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). Does anyone else find the story the media and government telling us a bit suspect?

So I ask all those who know much more than I. What you all think? Has Osama been living in a hole the past 5 years and we just can't find that hole? or Does the government know where he is but is keeping him around so there can be unifying enemy? Sometimes I think if he was found than the american people would really start to wavier on the war on terror. But as long as there is an enemy to threaten us, than its much easier for the government to pass freedom diminishing laws. It's like dangling the carrot in front of the horse to make it walk.

What do you think??
MoonPrincess
Easy. He keeps running away from our people who are looking for him. Enough said.
Aztec Warrior
I and many others believe that the Gov't of Iran is hiding him. If that's the case, 5 years or 50 years.....he won't be found.
Bella-Angelique
Here is the list of the 47 clinics. List
In a badly deteriorated condtion he would be living within a 20 to 30 minute drive from one of them. Take your best shot at guessing which ones he uses.

The machines are big and are not that easy to carry around, but I suppose they could have bought one and are doing just that. I doubt it though. Quality of care is very important or the port used that is in the arm can go bad, as well as the need for labwork and diet adjustment.
AROCES
My guess is a soldier found Osama in a fox hole like Saddam. Filled the hole with him in it, returned to base, had coffee and cigarettes and never reported it. rofl.gif

There are some interesting questions about where Osama is and why we haven't caught him. I don't think there is much of an effort to find him. Bush himself has said on camera something to the effect that Osama just isnt that important. There are also hints that the governemnt might be behind some of the viedos they have released. The december 2001 confesson tape is often claimed by some to be a double. In my oppinion, the Osama in that footage doesn't look much like the Osama we have see in other footage. Several of the videos which support the war on terrorism have questionible aspects to them. The video of the beheading of Nike Berg is worth investigating.

al Qaeda uses the same type of Orange jump suits, plastic white chairs and paint on their walls and base boards as the Abu Ghraib prison? Nick Berg was actualy held at Abu Ghraid shortly before he was killed by al Qaeda in this video? Huh, small world.

"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him."
- G.W. Bush, 9/13/01

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."
- G.W. Bush, 3/13/02

"Deep in my heart I know the man's on the run, if he's alive at all...I just don't spend much time on it, really, to be honest with you."
G.W. Bush, 3/13/02

Well everyone can agree Bin Laden use to be a CIA Asset. Link

An article in the French daily Le Figaro confirms that Osama bin Laden underwent surgery in an American Hospital in Dubai in July.

During his stay in the hospital, he met with a CIA official. While on the World's "most wanted list", no attempt was made to arrest him during his two week stay in the hospital, shedding doubt on the Administration's resolve to track down Osama bin Laden. Osama's stay was confirmed by Nurses and doctors staffed at the hospital yet no investigation has taken place.

I recall Defense Secretary Rumsfeld stating that it would be difficult to find him and extradite him. Its like "searching for a needle in a stack of hay". But the US could have ordered his arrest and extradition in Dubai last July. But then they would not have had a pretext of waging a war. Meanwhile, innocent civilians are being killed by B-52 Bombers as means "to go after" Osama bin Laden. According to UN sources, the so-called "campaign against international terrorism" could lead to the death of several million people from an impending famine.

Cheers

He hasn't been living in a hole...he has been dead in a hole...and we can't find him because the hole he is in is covered with much of the Tora Bora mountain range!

i actually agree with joc on this one-- the jordanians reported him dead in early 2001 from kidney failure-- but just as a reference there were a number of bin laden doubles and all the videos where he admits anything have been unequivocally demonstrated to be hoaxes-- remember there were other bombings he had admitted to and rejoiced at the success of -- if he is alive it would surely be a result of him being a cia operative and getting the best treatment and security wink2.gif-- the guy who invented the segway also created a portable dialysis machine quite some time ago

That could be also true. The last time we saw him was in that area. He's between the boarders. That's what the reports say.

I bet you he's hiding in that funny black box in mecca! Now we know why westerners aren't allowed in thumbsup.gif

What a stupid attempt at being funny! rolleyes.gif

I liked it..
I think he's dead already, also..But if he is, and all conspiracies aside. He has far more value to the people who want to continue war with the Middle-East as some vague "Boogey-Man" in hiding than he does actually being caught and tried or killed; so why would they really want to look all that hard?

If he is actually dead. Then we need his body as proof though.

Easy. Osama Lee Oswald. He's a "mastermind."

im new to this website but my freind had a realy god idea about wats going on:
Bush and binladen are using the war on terorisem (sorry bad speller) as a diversoin to trade weapons for oil
this may sound made but if you think about it it could be true i meen why did Bush seneor end the first golf war?
truethat
I think he's dead. I am certain that if he wasn't he'd be used to rally the forces of Jihad. He was a hero to those people. A hero does more to motivate people than money does. I think he's dead and buried in a cave somewhere and the videos are old or an imposter.
MoonPrincess
He's truely dead. Then we need his lifeless body & why do the videos of him keep coming? And they're always recent.
truethat
His videos keep coming to rally the forces of Jihad. But as I said a live hero has a power that a dead one does not. They don't want to admit he's dead because their cause will lose oomph which it already has anyway.
aquatus1
Particularly if it turns out that he died a while back and the videos are frauds.
MoonPrincess
Ok. I actually don't pay much attention.

That's probably why the number 2 guys is doing the videos.

And said "Forget the $25 million reward." ????? I doubt it.
Stardrive
My guess is he was killed a few years ago, or died of natural causes. If he was killed by US forces, it would have never been reported as not to make him a martyr. If he died of natural causes (disease, accidental), it would never be reported for obvious reasons.
Lilly
It seems to me that there are two fairly good guesses:

1) He's already dead.

2) He's in some really remote area of Pakistan and the U.S. has cut a deal with the Pakistani government to just "leave him be".

Anubi
Osama says he didn't do it apparantly .

Osama

Bin Laden

Wonder who else could be responsible ....

Mossad

Zionists
Col. Kurtz
Maybe he really works for the CIA and thats the real reason we havnt '' found '' him yet.
