I posted a lil bit of what I experience in the "powers" thread... but this instance I experienced was different in my mind..
This happened about 15 years ago and i'll try to keep it short.. a few friends and I rented a motel room to have a get together.. and the room was in my name... of course we end up getting kicked out.. well I was thrashed and as everyone bailed.. so did I.. the next day I realized that I had lost my wallet.. and had to return to the motel and see if I left it there.. the motel people told me that I could go through the lost and found if I wanted to.. so I did.. without any luck. I had given up at that point was was leaving the motel room which they allowed me to search.. and got a weird feeling or instinct to look in this bush under the stairs.. (it felt like I was being drawn to the bush to be more precise) I didn't look at first.. I waited until the guy from the motel went back inside the office then walked over to the bush.. I looked underneath and there was my wallet.
The thing is that I didn't and still don't remember anything from the point of getting drunk through the time I was sobering up at my friends house the next morning.. but yet somehow I found my wallet.

you may not remember where you dropped your wallet, but maybe your brain does.
our brains perceive a lot of information from the senses, we just ignore much of it. e.g. when you're at a party, you don't 'hear' (or more correctly, you ignore) what everyone at the party is saying, however, you will hear someone mention your name.

We know a lot more than what we're consciously aware of.

Well thats cool you found your wallet. I hope everything was there. I would classify this as an instinct or a gutt instinct .
predetermined to locate this important item { your identity} . You used well thought out discernment and common sense.
Usualy when people get kicked out of a hotel room they were probably making noises in the bushes .lol

Just curious, how DID you manage to get kicked out of a motel room? They are all pretty used to goofing off after all.

Back in the bad old days........ I had a nasty habit of getting paranoid about people during certian types of parties qnd would hide my money. The next day I sometimes I could not remember where I hid it. I found some that was missing for six months after I had a dream about hiding it. I suppose my subconsious had figured I had suffered enough and finally told me where I had stashed it. Perhaps it was the same for you.

From what I was told.. we were kicked out for noise...
I guess gutt instinct kinda covers it I guess.. but I always wondered how I knew to look there..
