Has anyone else heard if Coast to Coast am is going to be on the Sci-Fi channel, or will it just be a George noory thing?

I had not heard of Coast to Coast going on Sci-fi, but it is a great idea for their version of a Late Night Show to go up against the other Late Night shows.

I've never listened to it, as I'm dead asleep when it's on, but I'd love for it to be on tv because then I could dvr it and watch it whenever. Yes, this is a great plan. Get out of my room!

I doubt its christian based...they talk about a lot of stuff on that show wouldn't be accepted by the church.
I don't like the show...too many crazies call in. UM should have a show on SciFi...it would be better(aslong as i'm there anyways).

It is'nt Christian based at all.
ALtough I think George Noory is getting a little better, I think Ian Punnet & Art Bell should be hosting it. Ithink it would make for interesting veiwing anyhow.
And don't be hatin' the crazies...sometimes that makes it a little more interesting.

paranormal yes, christian no. You do get hints of it as he has done previous shows regarding demonic possession and offers a CD featuring the late Father Malachi Martin. Other than that topic, you won't find anything of a christian nature.

If they do make a late night talk show out of it for the Sci-Fi, I hope that they don't spent 30 minute sof every hour doing commercials like on my local afiliate. I have actually driven from one end of town to the other without a minute of show, all ads. The Sci-Fi has a tendancy to put in commercials ever five mintues, (time it yourself). That kills anything on there. I used to be a big fan of the SFNetwork, now I never watch it at all. After about the fifteenth commercial this break, I start wondering what's on TVLand or something.
I know that they have to make money but, my G-d, do they have to make it all in each and every commercial break? Hell, even if they are playing something that I'd like to watch, I lose interest after the first ten commercial breaks, (About 20 minutes into the show).
The other thing that I think would kill the show is if they start interviewing "Psychics" every other night. To me, there is nothing more boring than somebody sittng on the tv telling me that they are getting a message from someone whose name starts with "J"... or maybe it's a "Q". If they leave out the balongna, it could be a pretty good show for a while.

I believe that the number of commercials is decided by the given radio or t.v. station, as opposed to a given show.

hehe guess that's one good thing about being a subscriber all these years. have all these shows downloaded an never have to worry about the commercials.

Art did an extra hour last week or week before... so good I've listened to it twice!

If I remember right, an could be wrong but
few years ago I remember Art had just renegotiated his contract and part of it was there were no "blocks" like certain time of program certain time of commercial certain amount of prog certain amount of commerical etc...
his contract said he could talk as long as he wanted, just had to get a certain percentage of commercial in a particular night and that was flexible through the week.
he was talking about it on the show, and this was just before George Noory was a regular much less the new host.
could be wrong on the particulars but it was something like that, and Art Rocked.
