What I find rather interesting is that I posted the link to that Clavius page in my very first post here in this thread!

Oh, I see that now Mr. Hawkins is being called a "NASA stooge" (as opposed to one of the world's greatest scientists). Amazing, absolutely amazing.

Well,

At least I was never a "NASA stooge" (I think...correct me if I'm wrong in that regard hmm.gif )! I should write Jay and Phil and tell them that straydog called them "stooges", and that he only ever called me a "disinformation specialist", but he called them "stooges"! grin2.gif

Of course, Jay would probably go look at things in depth and inform me that straydog called me insulting and rude on multiple occasions, and tell me that that that's worse than being called a "stooge"....

I suppose I couldn't argue with him! crying.gif

I've never referred to Clavius or BA here once, I think, in all of my posts, yet somehow, stray equated me with these stooges often!

I will say this:

Straydog lasted alot longer, and tried alot harder than any of the other now-departed members who attempted to claim a moon-hoax (S3th, kilter...a different class altogether). I am assuming he made the mistake of heading over to another forum and bad-mouthing UM (I saw it, and I even got a personal bashing over there...defenseless as I was, since I am not a member over there original.gif ), and that may have resulted in his departure from UM (he says he left, but being banned generally refers to something other than a resignation...).

But I wish him well, wherever he goes. There are likely few places left.

Quite frankly, if we had a few more people on the hoax side like turbonium here, that would be nice!

Turbo knows how to discuss, and make it fun to do so...whatever your view on the subject. It's a talent that seems sorely lacking in many, but turbonium, as a member of the other side, has my admiration!
