I also worked out the word "radiation" in that clip.
My guess is that the mother orangutan was exposed to high levels of radiation. That stuff will do freaky things to a baby.
Poor thing

Looks like a case of Anencephaly. To be perfectly honest I'm not even sure that it's an urangutan...

I agree... Its a bit hairless for an orangutang, and the arms are a bit too short. Somebody should inform these turks that it is possibly a human baby...

I agree , it keep showing a pregnant woman and also these people I seen on some news story not to long ago about all of these siblings that walk on all fours and can not walk upright unless some one is holding them, so it is most likely a human baby....aww poor little thing.

Yep, doubt that baby is part of any ape family. Sounds like some kind of genetic defect from the pictures of the pregnant women and the video of that family in Turkey that walks on all fours. This tells a little about them:

I reckon it's some sort of harlequin baby, suffering from harlequin ichthyosis or a similar illness/disease
Im... I don't mean to be rude, but in that video, there was something extremely long protruding from the baby/things genital area..... Surely it couldn't have been its... thingy...?

Whats with the woman at the end walking like a monkey, was she exposed to radiation as well?
that looks rather strange if think that was genetical modified in that woman at the end and with the result of the crossing of genetics it gave that woman animalistic traits....
it does look rather outlandish doesnt it..like them things out of i think star wars? with its protruding eyes and small bloodvein sucking mouth..

From what I gathered it is human, not an orangutan and the defects are theorized to be due to a chromosomal abnormality caused by radiation exposure during early pregnancy. I doubt the child would live long.

.....
The reason usually identified as to why apes/orungatangs whatever/however you spell it walk on all fours is due to the dimentions of their body (body muscle and bone structure) and the way that it grows. There are many disabled people who walk on all fours because of the deformed dimentions of their body.
Looking at the photos in that article and the original video i was unable to see the out of proportion chest size to the legs and the long muscular arms that you might expect to see from someone who moves around in this way?
Just a thought
awww that poor baby

, with eyes like that, i wonder how it saw the world and what differences it had/would of had in its brain and thinking/sensory perception to that of a healthy gestated babe?
This is a little brash but i wouldnt be surprised if they handed a few people a couple of quid to walk around like apes just to make the story more eye catching for ratings, you know what the media's like

. mmmm
