Yeah, well, some of you might be familiar with the game series entitled "The Legend of Zelda" from Nintendo. I've been playing them since I was a kid... And, I just beat Twilight Princess.. anyways, on topic: I love Zelda music, the some of their music is almost.. possessing. I don't know if it does the same to others, but it sure does it to me. Maybe it brings back good childhood memories.. or something.
Anyways, here is the link:

I'll give you a good example.. Go to "Majora's Mask" then go to the music titled: "Clock Tower". I really get a weird feeling there.. Maybe it's just me tongue.gif

Hello Arnack, Ive been a zelda fan since its beginnings. And yes the music for the game is possessing.

Ah, cool. Thanks for the reply.

The Zelda games have a certain atmosphere to them. It's a mystical feeling. The music is a big part of it.

I miss the days of the original Zelda on nintendo. Man I loved that game.
Cadetak
Its contibuted to Nintendo and their ability to put original and good music in their games. Nintendo has bin possesing people since the 80s...its the only reasonable explanation. I mean why on earth would anybody want to play a game about
a fat old italian plumber who jumps on turtles! It makes no sense.

Play Sonic: Rush its the same sort of idea, old school 2-D made to perfection. It's the best Sonic game since...well the Genesis. You may think it is even better then NSMB...but that depends on your tastes in Mario V.S. Sonic.

They just don't make games like they used to. I loved those old 2d RPGs. The 3d RPGs just don't have the goods to play with my brain. Except Final Fantasy 7.

Have you played new the new Zelda for the Nintendo Wii?

It's Awesome, Gameinformer says that it's hands down the best Zelda Game ever. I'm not really sure thought wether or not I agree with that statement. It's a close call.

Yes I have. It's just I've never played a game that matched up with Chrono Trigger, FF3, FF7, Zelda, most of those older games. The new ones, like Wind Waker... FF10... FF9 wasn't that bad, but the story sucked near the end. Don't have more time to go on though because I have to go.

i have it, but i would have to put it as a tie with OoT
man that ocarina was cool...
if they remade it on wii at current gen graphics and the wii controls, OoT would prevail, no doubt

All music can be considered "possessing"..in fact if the music is that way the artist is quite possibly doing their job as they want it to be done.

The Zelda music is supposed to sound mystical and fantastical like the game..and it does sound that way.

A good example would be....Pan's Labyrinth. I believe if you go to the site you can hear the soundtrack play on the site...the music is terrifying and mystical, like the movie.

I'm addicted to the music from A Link to The Past something about it it takes me back to the early years of my childhood.

I find it melancholy and depressing. Not that that means I don't like it. w00t.gif It is emotionally atmospheric music. Makes me want to sit by a clean waterfull and watch the grass, mushrooms and flowers on a stream bank.

I loved the music from Zelda in the N64, the nes was just annoying.
Haven't tried it on the Wii though, they are sold out everywhere in Oz apparently.
I really liked the music from Perfect Dark though, it got stuck in my mind ... and made me want to shoot computers.
Nice eh?

Alot of Zelda tracks are made of WIN, namely Gerudo Valley and many Majora's Mask tracks.

Perfect Dark, the original, is one of my favorite games of all time. The gameplay, storyline, and the music just owns; and everything else about it.

Speaking of Banjo Kazzoie, I won that game off a cartoon network contest when I was 14 or something. The only contest I think I've ever one. That song they always played on that game was the Teddy Bear Picnic one.

I loved the world on that game that changed seasons. I loved it with the fall season.
