Im hopefully getting a nintendo Wii tomorrow, and I would like to know what the best game for the wii is. I am stuck between deciding on Legend of Zelda, Red Steel and Farcry. Does anyone have any ideas on what game I would get?

Zelda duh if you like action rpg's, unless you like FPS games then go for the other stuff

But if you want good FPS games then buy a wii and get the few FPS games that came out on the gamecube like Killer7, Geist, Metriod Prime 1 and 2 and Timesplitters 3 future Perfect.

Can u play Gamecube games on a Wii?

I know that you can download NES, SNES, N64 and Sega Genesis games.

Those two games are must haves! Believe me. Red Steel is pretty kick ass too, I plan on renting it again.

You need a gamecube controller to play gamecube games on the wii i think and a special retro VC controller to play the Virtual Console games.

Zelda all the way and you can wait for metroid:coruption if you want a shooter in a little while.

Zelda:Twilight Princess hands down...

Call of Duty 3 comes in second

Red steel had many bad reviews and to tell you the truth when the day after the wii came out and i was at ebgames(video game store) alot of people were already trading it in so i dont think you should buy this game although it may seem fun but in reality the game is garbage.

Games i reccomend:
-rayman raving rabbids
-Wii sports
and of course zelda

Red Steel IS extremely fun. The reason being is the control. You use Katanas, Tantos and a variety of guns to mo down mobsters. Very simple. The interactivity with the WII remote is the prime reason this game was made. Turn the remote, the gun turns in game. It's very fluid but takes abit to get used too since if you aim away from the screen it all goes wonky.


HOWEVER. Red Steel looks like trash to be blunt, is extremely repetitive and dull and plays no differently than any other FPS game in terms of the story and way it looks, since the PS1. It's nothing special, it's just got a cool control.

That been said, don't waste your money.

I've completed zelda, so im thinking of trading it in and getting farcry, is that any good?
