I was just wondering, can you use any SD card for the memory stick for the wii or do you need a specific type, like the psp? Any info received appreciated

Any SD card.

My digital camera had a card that held up to 1500 images, i now use it for my Wii respectively.

I don't have a Wii, but from my experience with memory cards the formatting might be the only issue. If you try a card and it doesn't work in the Wii, try reformatting it to some variety of FAT and it'll most likely work great.
