when i drive under a streetlight they tend to flicker and die.

Well I guess you've never noticed that A LOT of street lights go off and on, The one down the street from my house dose it like every five minutes. Sorry dude I dont think it has anything to do with you.

In my humble opion, since I have seen the same, I will say it is coinsidence aswell.

Streetlights flicker on and off a lot..Usually it's because they overheat, which means they need to be worked on. Something like a passing car or pedestrian can create just enough vibration to disturb a bad light and cause it to switch itself off momentarily. It keeps it from burning out entirely..
As for the stop-lights..They're usually on a timer that gets tripped by traffic so it isn't a big surprise if they change when you get near them..The law of averages deals with that.

They all do that, get used to it. And that traffic lights turn yellow when you get there is probably just bad luck.

! Try WALKING or STANDING under a streetlight, or any light, then make up your mind about weather you have super turning lights off powers. BE sure to report back.
