My most embarassing moment would have to be the time my mum asked me to go down the bakery and buy half a dozen jam donuts and I came back with lamingtons. blush.gif

Yep, you deserve to die of shame for that one...I hope that you own a paper bag....

A few years ago my Mom was throwing a dinner party and she sent my brother and I to the grocery store to get a bunch of stuff. We walk in, he grabs a grocery cart and we start down the aisles. I was looking up at the stuff on the shelves and I thought he was right behind me. I grabbed something off the shelf and started to put it in the basket when I saw something in there that just didnt make sense.

I reached down and grabbed it and asked out loud "what the f*** are you buying tampons for, you idiot?"

Well, the woman just freaked out and my brother was laughing from the other end of the aisle

I've had a good share of embarrassing moments due to my clumsyness but one sticks in mind in particular.
I was working as an au pair babysitter in NJ and one Saturday night I went on a date with a really sweet guy named Jonathan. We were supposed to meet at a local Starbucks parking lot.
I took the family car (Ford Taurus) which was an automatic (not something I'm used too blush.gif ) and cheerfully went on my way.
When I got there the lot was PACKED! People everywhere. It was, I guess, the local place to get together before going out.
So, I got out of the car to see if I can spot my date anywhere and as I got out and closed the door I wasn't paying attention to what button I was pressing on my little car remote controler. So I pressed the ALARM button. blink.gif
EVERYONE turned to see where the sound was coming from. I got UBER nervous, and while appearing to look cool I fidgeted with the remote trying to turn the alarm off and guess what, I POP OPENED THE HOOD. laugh.gif thumbsup.gif
Then I simply couldn't stand it and started to laugh my buns off. w00t.gif grin2.gif
P.S. Jonathan found me quickly after. I guess it saved us the time.

This one time, I ran on the far left of the red neon. While getting the newspaper, I was running back towards the house. And ran into the neon, it hurt like crazy. ^^;;

The other week, I was upstairs & my sister said something. And while she was walking back downstairs, she broke wind. We both started to laugh.

Another embarrassing moment which I will never feget!....lol

I went on holidays to Japan and I was staying in a hotel for the last night in Osaka. I caught a really bad cold and before I went on my flight back home, I stole a whole toilet roll from the hotel (cause i got no tissues). I was sitting at the front end of the plane and it was assending and just at that moment I was about to sneeze with a nose full of snot, so I reach into my bag to grab some toilet paper but then the most terrible thing happened, as I took it out I dropped it and down the toilet roll went to the back of the plane. Everyone look at me and I went bright red as I walk down the ile rolling the toilet paper up! My mates never feget about it...they called it "The Walk Of Shame"..lol

Okay so this isn't really MY embarassing story, but I figured it might make some people laugh...

My parents go away to Florida every year, and usually they're joined by my Mom's sister & my Grandparents. This was several years ago; it was about a week before my parents were due to leave, and we were having a "family" dinner at my Grandparents' house.

My Mother, Aunt and Gram sat at one end of the table talking, while my Father, sister, brother, Grandfather & myself all had our own conversation going on at the other end of the table (it was the end closest to the bottle of wine wink2.gif ). Apparently, my Gram was telling my Mom & Aunt about how she'd fallen the week before, and now had this enormous bruise on her hip. Of course, as the rest of us were fighting over the wine, only my Mom & Aunt heard Gram telling about the bruise.

Right after, my Aunt changed the subject to the oh-so-dinner-table-appropriate topic of "bathing suit readiness" for Florida (bikini lines). Ya... I know. My aunt's a strange person. But, I digress. Anyway, I guess my Gram hadn't heard the subject change (but the rest of the table had - hoo boy, there was an outcry when we heard the phrase "bikini line" at the table with my PARENTS and GRANDPARENTS! Just ICK!), and she suddenly stood up, saying, "Here, I'll show you..." and began unbuttoning her pants!!

Holy crap - you have never heard a louder outcry than when we thought Gram was trying to show us her bikini line at the dinner table! blink.gif There was a general scream, followed by the covering of eyes and random flailing, as we all tried to run away. happy.gif Turns out though, that she just wanted my Mom & Aunt to see the bruise on the top of her hip. To this day, she doesn't understand why we were so upset when she stood up! grin2.gif

I have so many, I shall start with the very first ones I can remember.

I used to embarass my parents a lot, but not intentionally..

We were standing in-line at the grocery store and I saw a tabloid magazine that read something about Lucille Ball and her co-star (ethyl). I had never seen the word before so I said out loud "mommy what does LeSssbian mean?" It seemed like everyone stopped what they were doing to look at us, and the cashier started laughing. She doesn't actually remember it but I do cuz I'll never forget the awkward look on her face and the way she "shusshed" me lol.

Did the same with my dad, when I was in Gr. 3 we were out in public somewhere, can't remember, and I asked him what the "F" word meant but in Italian..(I pronounced it in Italian) and my dads face was priceless. I was in Gr. 3, where it seems I learned all the bad stuff. Were not even Italian so he asks me while trying not to laugh "uh sweetie where did you hear that from?!"

This other time that really makes me laugh thinking back, when my best friend and I were in class (gr. 6) she suddenly turns to look at me and says "do I have a B.I.N?" (booger in nose). It was our code. I look, and theres this HUGE brown one just sitting there waving at me. I burst out laughing and could NOT stop. I got yelled at infront of everyone and the whole while Im going nuts laughing and covering my mouth, trying my best not to. My friend's sitting there trying to hide her nose as shes getting yelled at too, which made me laugh even more. Then I got kicked out of the portable and after freezing my butt off and being made fun of through the windows from my other friends in the class, he came out to only yell at me some more.

Embrassing is when i thought i lost my mobile on a bus I stated crying and i had all these people helping me look. I called up my mum to see if my phone was at home while iwas on the bus someone pointed to me and said "is that your phone" My mobile had been in my hand the whole time i didnt even bother looking there. Some people laughed at me when i got of the bus

I did something similar when I was searching for my glasses. I started crying because I couldn't find them and im nearly blind without them on, and when the tears dropped I noticed they dropped on the lense lol.

Another infamous embarrassing moment of mine, falling UP the steps rolleyes.gif .
Hooligan
Heres My Embarrassing Story:

It was a cold winters day, I packed up some hamburger meat and other fixings to go cook dinner with my lovely boyfriend at his work , he works on the river,
Well we had just gotten our new puppy-dog Hooligan, she was probably 3 months old at the time. Well when I arrived to my boyfriends work I noticed that Hooligan had had a little accident on me, ( She was sitting on my lap). So I tied her leashe to the steering wheel so she wouldn't run off and I could clean myself off from her accident. Well I closed the door....with it locked....
So my poor puppy is locked in the car, tied to the steering wheel.
She looked at me with her big eyeballs as if she was saying " Mommy, please don't leave me"
So I called AAA to find out that my card had expired the day prior. But since I had told them that My dog was in the car they gave me the number for a locksmith. SO I called them and it took them about half an hour to arrive at the scene.
By this time Hooligan had gotten into the raw hamburger meat...and she's having a field day. She realized that we couldn't get to her.

So anyhow, The lock man showed up....and he put the little jimmy thing through the window...Hooligan was like "Ooooh a toy!" so she's attacking the slim jim thing they put through the window....then finds a pair of panties ( i don't know why I had panties in my car) and starts chewing on it. And the man had his two kids with him that we're looking in on whole ordeal and the little girl says " Daddy what is she chewin on?" haha
So it took him 2 hours to get in my car so I could get Hooligan out.

Here's my embarrassing story.

When I was younger, I used to be in church plays all the time. Well, in one particular play, I was one of the three wise men. I did fine walking down the main aisle. Then my sash started to slip down. It inched farther and farther. I was nearing the altar when it slipped down to my ankles and made me trip. I threw the 'gift' I was carrying at the baby Jesus. (It was a doll.) An old lady in the aisle next to me laughed out loud and then helped me up.

Later I found out that my dad was waving his hands at me trying to tell me that my sash was slipping. This was a very embarrassing moment for me!

^^ haha got one similar to that, lets say @ an outdoor wedding reception in a long silk skirt - standing infront of a garden flood down lamp on a little hill infront of the entire wedding party, having a long indepth conversation with somebody. See through??? laugh.gif
