I just added someone to my PM block list and found that there were several members on my PM block list who I had never added. In fact, the people on the list were people I had on my Buddies List prior to the latest site update. Why would this happen?

God doesn't want you to talk with them.

If you check next to the names on that list you'll see some are "Message Ban" and some are "Message Allow", the people who would have been on your old buddies list will be "Message Allow".

Oh I went and had a look and I've got the same thing with my old friends list, everyone is on message allow. Is it ok to just leave it as it is or should we delete the names?

Shouldn't make any difference, it's up to you really.

LOL, no not at all. But I do get some PM's that don't really make sense and when I get them consistently from someone I like having the option of blocking them.

Lol. Its the power isn't it. I like pushing my computer to the limit that it shows signs of crashing. I have all of the various topics from this site open on different tabs and i then refresh all of them at the same time. It's fun.

After you block a user from sending you a message, when they try to contact you are they alerted that they have been blocked?

Yes, they will reach an error page telling them they are unable to contact you either because they are on block or because the recipients private messanger has been disabled.
