My Dear Fellowmen,

Is this one-eye kitten true? I saw it in the Photo Gallery. It says that its owner named it Cyclop for having one eye.

Could you please give more details?

Best regards,

Yep, its just a genetic disorder/muttaion that make that the poor kitty to born whit fused eyes, just a big eye. Nothing too weird.

Yes, it's just a genetic mutation...Some human trisomys and monosomys can cause the eyes to be buried in the back of the head...so it appears you have no eyes...

Trisomy 13 is an example.

I always thought the one eyed kitten was a hoax, cause ALOT of pictures on the internet are either hoaxed 100% or heavily edited.

nature can be strange sometimes
frogfish
This is not that "weird"...

I couldn't believe it was real. It looked 100% photoshoped to me.
