Many odd things have gone on in my house, witnessed by many, that relate to a ghost haunting. Just a couple of days ago my friend and I were talking in my room, and right when my friend was about to say something, we both heard a mumbled whisper. However, we couldn't make anything out of it and didn't hear it again. Also, I have heard crying at night when the rest of my family is asleep. I know, it could've been a family member, but I go into all the rooms to check..and they are always sound asleep.

One time a group of my friends and I are pretty sure we witnessed a ghost. We we playing a trick on my little sister and hiding in the backyard, so when she came home from the busstop she would find noone. However, we all heard "BECCA!?" [my name.], in a scared child voice. One of my friends and I looked in a window from the back of my house, and we both swear we saw my sister. I told them it was enough and we needed to get inside because she was scared. We all ran into the house to find noone..and my sister walking up the street.

My cousin once watched my house while my family and I were out of state. During that time, she would leave and come home from work, finding doors open/closed and lights on/off that weren't in that state beforehand

My computer has also acted up, typing random keys that I didn't even type myself. And my tv has shut on and off by itself..though it hasn't happened recently.


Everything above I could live with. The only thing that creeps me out is I've been recently getting scratches on my body. They have just started. Twice I've gotten them under my chin, once on my left thigh, and I woke up today with some on my left shoulder. I'm a nailbitter and probably have the shortest nails possibly so it couldn't have been myself. And I also don't have a pet.

that sounds creepy, personally i would hate that and would never feel safe. the only thing i can think of is to think of happy thoughts all the time, apparantly this puts poltergeists at bay because they feed off fear and anger apparantly. but i dont know i read this in a book somewhere, some house was haunted by a poltergeist so the kid started thinking of happy things and drawing p[ictures of flowers and stuff and it warded the poltergeist away.

That is scary, it would definatly freak me out............as for the scratches? hmmm

Is there any chance of you being able to move ?
You could try getting the house blessed and see where that takes you. I wouldn't put up with it. Tell them to get out and mean it with every bone in your body. If such things are happening in your home, try video taping the "hot spots" of you home to get evidence. As for the scratches... I don't know either, maybe also try videotaping yourself sleeping with the light on.

Maybe you could meet a medium who'd be willing to investigate your house. I don't know where you are in Massachusetts, but there's an active "meetup" group for the Boston area.

The idea is to tell the medium nothing, absolutely nothing, not even the address, until he or she comes to the place. If the medium s any good at all, they will not need any info from you. Some may start to "read" your situation the moment they meet you.

It'd be interesting to try.

Your house does sound active. Not sure about the scratches tho, nails aren't the only thing you can scratch yourself in your sleep with, any watch, rings, bracelets, buttons? if so try removing them before bed and see if the scratches continue.

I don't wear any jewelry, and haven't worn a watch since I was a twelve. There's also nothing sharp around or in my bed; I've considered something being there, and checked, but there's nothing that could make the scratches.

What about any buttons on your duvet cover or night clothes? I don't mean to sound like a nit picker lol but I know with myself I've woken up with my duvet cover bottom or side to top lol - just trying to outrule every other possiblity with the scratches. Otherwise I do think your house sounds active and if it's really bothering you I may be able to help

I dont know about the rest of it but I have seen my computer, in years past, typing by itself. My husband (now ex husband) freaked out because he said someone had hacked into our computer.

So that might be something you need to check out.

I've thought about that too, but it's highly unlikely.
When the typing does happen, it doesnt make sense and it's very rare.
And I also don't have wireless internet..which is the cause for most hackings.
I appreciate the warning though :]

Man I'd just love to come across a spirit who can interact with a keyboard!! I think that would be amazing to see lol, I'm not being sarcastic either! I think it would be cool! In the house I grew up in we had a spirit who would tap the piano keys sometimes.

One select time, n just kep coming up. i tried to backspace but the n's continued to come up after i would backspace some. then it started backspacing. and i was getting mad so i said "STOP!" However, I said it in fustration, not in any intent of commanding something. But, it did stop for thirty seconds or so right when I yelled. Then the n's continued to be backspaced until i said "Stop." again. By now I found this interesting, and decided to say "Go." And it started backspacing again, until once more I said "Stop." This process kept going until all the n's were gone.

That was one of the weirdest experiences I have had.

When it happend to us (and it happend more than once) it was years ago and we didnt have wireless. I am not even sure there was such a thing as wireless then. LOL! And the stuff that was typing didnt make any sense either.

But if you would rather believe it was a spirit hacking into your computer...then more power to you.

Have you thought of moving out of the house? As for myself, if I couldn't afford to have a psychic come into the house and clear it, I would definitely move out if you're having scratches on your body.
