It is indeed a serious thing. Ask the child who has been expelled from school, the worker who has been fired from his job, or any individual who has had to endure social criticism from their more 'enlightened' peers. His stunning prophecies have become reality today in the form of Political Correctness, as inflexible a tyrant as the most brutal dictator - a powerful social tool of the Left that ostracizes, humiliates, and 'educates' people whose thoughts, words, or actions do not conform to the designs of the current power structure.

Political Correctness in a nutshell is the inability to call a spade a spade. It is the extreme aversion to 'offend,' resulting in the sacrifice of Truth. In effect, Truth does not matter to the proponents of PC, because the Truth is often contrary to their grip on profits and power.

its kind of like a sickness of the weak minded me thinks, and thats its biggest advantage due to the fact there are so many weak minded folk out there, willing to do their masters bidding.
it is in reality a very degrading thing to many of those it "protects" scapegoats morelike. and those people that take the daily fix of self gratifying power trip only do themselves good.

Also remember that some people just can't handle the truth,which is why we're supposed to be "PC".Sorry,but those with low self-esteem or who are overly sensitive for some reason don't need for me to be PC with them...they just need to solve their problems or toughen up.

To me,it's apparent that a good chunk of the whole PC business is just a way for people to deny their own responsibility for certain problems that they have.
