Hallucination? Hoax? You be the judge

My brother and my parents along with aunts, uncles and family friends had gone to a resort up in Quebec Canada. Resort was Montebello. I've heard alot of stories about the history of this place. One night, my brother, cousins, a family friend and uncle took a walk onto a trail that led to the woods at Montebello. It was late at night and very dark. My brother had his cam corder and recording everything that night. My cousin deceided to be a sh!t disturber and do something to some frogs (forgive the pun) He poured beer on the frogs and after that, the night was never the same. They could hear people in the bushes and the trail they were on was leading them away form the Hotel. They had acorns thrown at them from trees and all of them saw little people. "Dwarfs" as they describe at the end of the trail. Lots of them. They had this feeling that they were being followed by these people and they looked angry. In some cultures, there are talk of these little people. Some people have the ability to see them. Others, like the rest of us can't see them. One of my cousins has this ability and told my brother while they were walking in the woods that there were hundreds of them and it got to a point were they were all panicking, trying to find there way back. The family friend who was walking with them has Native Indian background and she told me that she saw an Indian Chief in the sky trying to warn her of the situation they were in. (sounds crazy but this lady doesn't seem nuts at all) When they got back to the Hotel, Everyone was scared. Strange things started to happen. They all felt something evil was present . They deceided to huddle and say a prayer and the situation was getting worse. They were all freaked out of what happened in the woods and played video in the cam corder. On the video they saw a black picture then red eyes started to appear, then bunch of them on the screen. My aunt told them to destroy the tape and that it was very evil. In the middle of the night the alarm on the digital clock would go off every 30 mins. My uncle deceided to unplug it but the clock still alarmed. They wonder why the clock would still alarm so they checked it for batteries. When they opened the clock, they saw 1 battery. This clock needed 2. The next day they left the resort. They didn't want to stay there any longer. They had plans to destroy the tape so they went to a nearby church to destroy the tape and burn it. They put the destroyed tape contents in a cup and when they burned it. LOTS of bugs started to come out of this tape. 8 people confirmed these events. Whats your opinion or does anyone know the history of Montebello.

Personally I don't believe it. It sounds too much like a B movie.

I didn't believe it at first when my brother told me this but when my aunts, uncles, and my cousins mother in law told me the story then its hard not to believe. I'm willing to go on a 3 day trip to Montebello and check out the resort. Naturally, people will not believe things they do not see themselves.

Natch.

But the thing that threw it over the edge for me was the bugs coming out of the burning tape.

Yeah man. If you do believe this story, don't tell anybody that bug part anymore. Sounds like a Sci-Fi channel commercial.

And if you do go to Montebello, bring another video camera, redo the beer thing and don't burn the tape this time. I'm sure it'd make an interesting forum though.(The angry gnome things may be evil, but their footage isn't. original.gif )

...I was wondering though, why did your family bring a recorder into the woods at night? Were they looking for signs of haunting or something?

I've been to the place but never stayed there. I think I've heard ghost stories involving the place but can't remember. I'll consider looking into the matter.

My brother always brings digi cams, cam corders on all his excursions. Its a good idea. Cause you never know what you can capture since each day is spontaneous.

Yeah I think that's probably the part he left out. After the beer pouring, they licked the beer off the frogs in regret. Then all hell broke loose.

This has really been quite the interesting thread to be honest.

Who knew that pouring beer on frogs could open up a gateway to hell?

I'm never going to put cheese on a lizard either, no telling what could happen.

Well come on, I could have told you THAT.

It is also a bad idea to throw marshmallows at woodpeckers.

If you put cheese on a lizard, then it will be a cheesy lizard. nobody likes cheesy lines. especially if it turns out to be a cheesy lizard as the punchline.
