Some of you may be familar with the American humor website Something Awful. They basically lampoon Internet culture and anything else they think is dumb. Usually they're very funny, as long as you're not a member of the group they're making fun of. Anyway, SA does a "weekend web forum" section where they take posts from various themed forums and make comments about them. Usually they choose the most bizzare posts with the poorest grammar and spelling. Last week was "Goth and Wiccan forums" and this week is..."Conspiracy/UFO forums". And they've got a couple posts from our forum!!!
Personally, I'm not sure whether to be honored or offended, but I encourage everyone to check out UM's moment of infamy on the Internet.

I'd personally like to see some quotes out of their own forum on there - any board with a section called 'General Bullshit' must surely have it's own fair share of 'awful' posts.
Yeah, SA are a bunch of nuts, but generally harmless nuts. They can cross the line sometimes. But all things considered, it could've been much worse, trust me! I have a friend who's a moderator on their boards and he's shown me their forums on numerous occasions. I've seen threads on their forums devoted to ghosts stories, strange experiences and UFO sightings...Why if it isn't the pot calling the kettle black! 
Hmm, i got a double dose there, this week with UM and last week with goths being their target. At least i wasn't quoted on either

that site is pretty big, infact i found THIS forum by reading the something awful section and googling some of the words to find this place, and yes they do have some on their own forums posts, something awful is probably the best website on the whole internet i love it
