So a couple recent, near unexplainable incidences have happened that I just can't figure out, nor anyone else. My first one was when I received my second Xbox 360 and it displays in black and white on SD tv sets. Called Microsoft and they said to talk to RCA... talked to them and they said call Microsoft. I've given up on it since I use HD anyways, it was just weird. The second odd thing I can't figure out is why my new Star Wars limited edition DVD's display the words Lucas, Burrt,Muren and Fisher. I figured it was a defect on the DVD...but when I played it on my other DVD player hooked up to the SDTV it didn't happen. Anyone else have any odd stories involving household tech that you can't explain or figure out?

I have the same problem as you do with your Star Wars movie. It is very annoying and I don't know how to make it stop. crying.gif I have also had various troubles with my computer, most recently being my scanner isn't working.

It does at first, but after a while you get used to it.

If you paid $75 for three movies and they were defective would you be happy?....

if the movie works then i wouldn't give a crap about a couple of odd words cuz i buy movies for the movie and not look for some weird things........ and again i'm not trying to be rude but do the words actually have need for a call of being defective......do the movies actually work

I'm usually tenacious and I won't stop fiddling or calling around until I figure something out.

Darn if I'll let the robots win!!

Sounds like a ghost in the machine to me, but seriously, if you paid good money for something and you think it's defective, like Ethyl said, don't stop digging until you get the answer you want...or a new set of movies.....period.

It's been suggested to me I turned the audio commentary on but am not hearing it, just seeing the name of whoever begins narrating a scene...makes sense, I'll check it later.
