Is there really a correct position to meditate? Or does everyone have like their own position in which they are comfortable in? Because i am extremely comfortable meditating while sitting on a pillow and leaning against my bedroom wall. Lol, i even tried meditating while sitting on a toilet seat and it felt comfortable. So, basically will i still reap the full benefits of meditation even though i have my own positions? And i do not slouch or anything like that. I keep my back straight and my chin kinda tucked in.

Just make one thread and when you make another question post it in that one thread.

Cant you ask your questions in the same thread, instead of making a new one for every question you have on the same topic? just a suggestion..

The correct position for meditation is the one that allows you to rest peacefully whilst you do it. Simple.

It all depends on the sitting rules of a particular technique. Some ashrams, temples are more formal (the classic yoga, sitting postures are required) than others. Few groups will allow you to sit on a chair. I, on the other hand, do not lean against anything when I meditate due to the energy movements. And I prefer being naked when I meditate, right after a nice, warm, relaxing shower. It is always good to meditate with a master, for many reasons.
