Pinhead used to be my favorite. Haven't thought much about it lately though. That virus in The Stand is a pretty scary killer. Or was that another movie? What was the one it turned people's blood into dust unless it was too acidic or alkaline? That's a scary killer.

I guess Pinhead is me vote tho.

There's a few I can think of, one is the 'Id' monster from Forbidden Planet. You can't kill the beast, because it is you!

I thought the monster from 'It' was pretty creepy as well. It would take on whatever form you were most afraid of.

i would have to agree...pinhead and hannibal. i never really even not afraid of any horror movies even as a kid because i thought they were so fake. like freddy and jason and micheal myers, i thought they were all so fake and stuff and it never scared me. but hellraiser....holy crap. pinhead scared the hell out of me and still does because i think if i die and go to hell.....that's what's going to be waiting for me (shivers). also hannibal lecter, hannibal can be a real guy anywhere in the world living in you're town.

Your thinking of the Andromeda Strain, If i recall correctly, King did not describe much about the virus in The Stand apart frm the fact it killed 98% of those infected.

Hannibal gets my vote by far.

Even though I thought Alien vs Predator kind of sucked...this thing is still my all-time fav killer..I loved how they used human skulls as trophies. At least he was honorable about it
