Full Version: Weird dream, or ET encounter?
Unexplained Mysteries Discussion Forums > Unexplained Mysteries > Sightings, Reports & Experiences
Cold.
This is a dream that I woke up rather early from. Earlier than normal, actually. I don't remember all details, seeing as there were other "dreams" that I had.

Let's start off. In my dream, I dreamed about extraterrestrial beings and coming into contact with me - however, this seemed more realistic than any other dreams that I've ever had about ETs. When I seen the ETs, they were silent, and then my mother came into the picture and we were in our house.

In the dream, my father had left to go down the country, but yet my mother revealed something rather.. odd to me. She said that "seven of these beings have come to you two times a month. This is one of your secrets. They have come for me, too." In the dream, I got really, really scared so I said that I wanted to sleep in my mom's room. It was only up until two years or so ago that I actually stopped sleeping with a parent because of extreme fears of ETs and the like.

Do you think that these ETs could have been the cause of my unexplained phobia? Maybe this is their way of contacting me and letting me know why I was afraid for so long. It was truly a remarkable dream, I must say - it certainly did seem to explain alot of things.

I want to know your opinions on this.

I really do think it was a dream. Your mind is just trying to rationalize your fear. thumbsup.gif

that's possible, but i mean, there is a possibility that i could have had an encounter. nothing is impossible. i guess it was funny how, right before i went to sleep, i got right paranoid thinking about ghosts and whatnot. i was thinking about when i used to sleep with a parent, and that kinda creeped me out seeing as it was... well... odd that i slept with a parent at a high age.

I'm 35 and I'd still sleep with my mommy if I could.... thumbsup.gif

Everyone has weird dreams at least once in their lifetime.

What unexplained phobia?

Don't worry, you aren't the only one who has an irrational fear of being abducted by aliens. thumbsup.gif I can't sleep facing the wall because of my phobia. But I think it was just a dream you had, so don't worry about it. wink2.gif

But, I've had plenty of dreams about surgeries and stuff linked to the UFO phenomena. Seeing aliens, etc. Just trying to rule out some possibilities. Sure, it was a dream - but perhaps a telepathic message from ETs? Who knows?

If that is what you've already convinced yourself of, then maybe it was.

This snoring with ones parents thing is quite disconcerting. I used to have a thing about my feet hanging over the end of the bed, my own bed...they might get chopped off by some mystery guillotine. Oh well, that's what you get when you're a long 'un.

Hey Alienated Being, is it a recurring dream?

I read alien books sometimes before bed and have had some intense alien dreams. Everything from violent invasions to being stalked by them. I know mine aren't real.

Well, I am certainly not poking fun, I have never had a dream like that and would most likely ask the same questions if I had. It does sound like you have pretty well decided that it was real and for that reason I think you should respond accordingly.....since you have had multiple dreams that you believe could be real....set a trap....something in your room so that you can determine if it has been disturbed. Sorry, no suggestions on booby traps but use your imagination, you can come up with something.

I read again last nite and dreamt some of my co-workers and friends were setting up a strong-hold against some invading aliens. Weird.

No, it is not a recurring dream - it just occurred once, however, there have been multiple accounts of dreams in which I encounter extraterrestrial beings in some way or another.

Yep my bed has to be against the wall and I cannot fall asleep facing the wall. While some accounts of abduction and or ghost sightings/sleep paralysis could be attributed to just being in an altered state of just waking up (Hell half the time I can't function till noon), I personally can't dismiss them all just due to the fact that we sleep 1/3rd of our lives so of course some of our experiences of anything will happen just before, during or after sleep. Damn moonanites! I'm trying to sleep here!

Based on your Avatar, Sig, and post, I think you spend way too much time thinking about aliens! It is not healthy to fixate on something so much.

I'm just like that.

I can't sleep around any windows or I'll have the feeling that ET's are watching me.
