"A walk alike"
Take a step, and you will see.
This is not so much a country, so far as a world so free.
Believe in me, my word, in this world I bleed.
A universe this pure, I walk alike in faith and labor - a seed.
Growing as I go, torment I know, I like to seek the truth I hunt.
No matter so brutal a word, this world is, I don't mean it so blunt.
A stunted way, paves a path with a heart, and a soul.
A universe stands by, when a fire burns this black coal.
God rolls dice, Einstein was wrong - ten fold.
Not a tale spoken, this poem I write, nor this soul I sold.
To die is no die so holy I roll, I walk alike those folding this feat.
Where angels dare take not this seat, I am defeatist.
Behold my bretheren - no enemy in this fate do they repeat.
I greet open handed, no arms in this way I am this weapon.
With only the cold and my toes, to the road will I be steppin'.
