My favorite movies as a kid were the old Pink Panther movies with Peter Sellers.

And, I loved Young Frankenstein with Gene Wilder.

And I was a Sean Connery James Bond fan too... that was probably a direct influence from my mother, she used to drag us to all the James Bond summer mattinee showings. grin2.gif

hahaha, you can tell Ripley and I are close to the same age.

The Little Princess

Be a brave little soldier, I liked that movie too.

One movie I really liked is one that my aunt took me to see when I was a kid. It was The Bad News Bears

I remember feeling all grown up because she took only me to see it

and then we went downtown to Woolworths and had a B.L.T., which she knew was my favorite.

Very cool memory original.gif

Oh how about Sandlot!?!?!
glassvampire
The Sandlot was a very cool movie in that it was a baseball movie but moreso it was a movie about growing up around the sport.

I loved it, although I was anything but a child when it came out.

I had this one Aunt who would take me and my cousins to the movies all the time. It was mostly stuff like Snoopy or Disney and all that.

She'd take us and we'd make a day of it. I can't imagine trying to do something like that these days with movie prices being what they are and the concessions and everything.

One thing I do remember was my cousin jonny jumping up cryin for Snoopy to just come home!

It was just too much for him, I guess

LOL, most of the movies y'all are mentioning game out when I was an adult.

Princess Bride and Edward Scissor hands are still two awesome movies--Both are on my daughter's list of favorite childhood movies (and for some reason as a kid she LOVED the Mel Brooks movie Men in Tights). haha.

I was never much of a cartoon fan when I was a kid and never liked Disney. I do however remember going to see Song of the South several times one summer and I did love that movie. Disney has locked all copies of that movie up in a vault somewhere and it will never be re-released again because some people claim it was racist. Maybe it was, but I surely didn't notice it when I was a tyke. I just liked the music.

The other movie I loved when I was little was ya... *cough* the Sound of Music. haha.

Bill Hill

That film where the sinister, eccentric and probably pedophilic owner of a giant corporation, abuses his power to ensnare children in his bizarre, strange and twisted manufacturing plant.
Er what’s it called…Oh yeah
Charlie and the chocolate factory.
