What song holds you captivated right now? Or is it the whole CD, the band?
I'm interested in what melody might be running through your head.
What are you singing to yourself?
I have Marilyn Manson on the brain right now, The Golden Age of Grotesque.
I can even tell you why.
So tell me.

Lately I've become mildly obssessed with a song by a Toronto musician, Janine Stoll. Sadly, it's not on an album yet (
to the best of my knowledge), but if you want to hear it, you can at her
myspace page. It's called "Means to My End". Don't know why, but it's stayed with me for about a month now - always playing in the back of my head.

I've heard that before. It's pretty good, depressing though.

Promise you won't laugh.......oh OK go ahead and laugh........last night I was listening to the radio whilst lying in bed and an old song from the days of my youth came on. I had forgotton all about it, but once I got reaquainted with it I decided I really like it. It's a good dance number, plus it's kind of funny.......so......I've got it on my computer and I've been playing it over and over for the past hour.....it's "Ra Ra Rasputin" by ABBA.
Earlier this evening I was enjoying The Tragically Hip's "Road Apples" album. One of their best IMO.

I have so many, too many, songs on the computer. In total over 4500 great songs.
What's in the head, hold on let's check the playlist...
I'd have to say the new Sizzla album is good!
And of course the Augustus Pablo... very relaxing and good for meditation.
A buddy gets them all for free, early and exclusively, using torrents. However, if I really support an artist I usually buy... but you can't turn down cheap.

I picked up the new Saliva album, "Blood Stained Love Story", yesterday, so I'm listening to that a bit. It's kinda dissapointing, in that there are only 10 tracks and it's not very heavy, and even the slower songs, which are usually good, aren't as impressive on this cd, but it's growning on me. It also got me into the mood for some old Saliva, so I'm currently listening to their "Back Into Your System" album.

~A Gothic Acoustic Tribute to - Tool ~ by "Gothacoustic Ensemble" - I highly reccomend it...it has astounding drums, vocals and guitars. Absoulutely incredible for Tool fans... *edited from yesterday - I was saying it 'was' M.James Keenan on some songs, but maybe it isn't him, it just sounds so much like him. I'll have to go research*
