I had this weird dream once and thought I would share it here. This was a couple years back... it was one of those dreams when you know you are dreaming, one of those lucid dreams. Well, I was in this room and really couldn't make out anything except this soman standing in front of me. She was tall and peaceful looking. She asked me a question, but I don't think she used words, it was more like telepathy. She asked me "do you really want to know?". I felt like what she meant was do I want to know the answers, and see the universe for what it really is. Looking at her in the eyes, it felt so real and that she was very serious about her offer. I wanted to say yes, but the fear of having my reality ripped away suddenly when I wasn't expecting it was too great. So I turned away. She vanished and I woke up.

I wonder what would have happend if I had said yes. Would my subconscious mind have shared some secrets that my conscious mind is unaware of? Or would her answer have been some mixture of my conscious expectations?

Try lucid dreaming again, and when you do try and call her back. The answer might have been one you totally weren't expecting.

BTW, I've noticed that while lucid dreaming if I lose my concentration one bit I will wake up or get a dream where it seems I have woken up, but I am still dreaming.

I always feel that you should pay close attention to numbers, names in dreams as well as specific quotes.

"do you really want to know"

if that was asked for me to answer, I would try to think if there is anything in my life I am bias on, or don't really want to hear (about anything, personal life, beliefs etc.) have ignored. It sounds like the answer is not what you want to hear or know, something that may be hard to disgest, can you handle that, is more like the question, are you ok if the answer is not what you expect? how well do you handle advice different than your own, especially if you feel strongly about something. "do you really want to know" subconscious knows us very well.

Grand dreams (got this from a book)
Once in a while there is one particular dream that is so illuminating and life changing that it deserves its own special category. It is so clear and so aptly fits the dreamer's existential issues that it is likely to be remembered all their life. The kind of grand dream tends to arrive on heels of stress or at a turning point in life. It is likely to be loaded with archetypical signs and cosmic messages straight out of collective consciousness. Though hard to interpret sometimes, it announces a time of spiritual growththat you won't be able to ignore.

That was a very insightful interpretation, thank you thumbsup.gif
