I'm interested to know what made him try this in the first place? Haha, he probably just got up one morning and told himself, "Today, I am going to see if I can conduct electricity through my body!".

That's one of the reasons I like the show actually: it's stupid, it knows it's stupid, and it's fine with being stupid.
I was wierded out by this as well, when I first saw it...

I actually saw something about this on TV last week... it was a show hosted by David Carridine (it was on History Channel). I can't for the life of me remember what it was called... but they showed an American gal that does this same thing as a circus side show act. She said that it was extremely dangerous (as you can probably guess for yourself). She actually wears a special type of glove to keep her finger tips from becoming overly barbequed. If I remember correctly, she calls herself a "human tessla coil". It was a totally cool segment.
Kids, don't try it at home, you'll likely kill yourself or at best you'll need a clean new set of underdrawers and a lengthy hospital visit.

Interesting, but can the guy shoots sparks from other parts of his body??? Please do not show it if he can, I can only take so much trauma in one day.

Pretty cool. Sometimes at my house, I like to turn off the lights and use my wool blanks to make sparks of electrcity in the dark. That's the closest I'll ever get to something like that.

I don't know about that. If he wasn't grounded would he not electrocute himself?

Well, by trade, it says that he was a TV Repair man. It probably turned out that one day he accidentally retained some electricity and set fire to some tissue paper - he probably blew his nose or something and it happened then lol.

An old friend of mine did similar to this. He was a welder, & with welding, he spent all day building up a static charge in his body. On one occassion he went to kiss his girlfriend, & sparks shot from his lips & gave her a shock. Now, when he comes in from work, he holds one of the copper water pipes (because they are earthed)< to ground & discharge himself , before kissing his wife (they got married).
