This is a neat find.

I wonder if logging and the clear cutting of the rainforests have anything to do with discovering new species. Or how many new species will not be discovered as a result of industry moving in.

Here's an article about some other species found in Africa.

New studies published this month in the scientific journal Biological Conservation document an amazing concentration of over 1000 species unique--or endemic-- to an area slightly larger than Rhode Island in the Eastern Arc Mountains of Tanzania and Kenya. This remaining habitat in the Eastern Arcs has the highest concentration of endemic animals in Africa and is increasingly endangered by complex threats.

Cute little critter. I wonder if I could get a mating pair off E-Bay? grin2.gif

It's an unfortunate fact that many new species are being uncovered because of human's destroying its habitat.
