We've been hearing odd noises for a few weeks. My dad figured it was raccoons and so he set up traps. The bait was taken but nothing was inside them except for a possum. Last night he finally captured something and no one on our street can identify it. I will take more pictures when it stops raining.

Where do you live? Why do does the rain have to stop before you can take more pictures? Have you contacted any local authority (Humane Society, police, the zoo, etc) about this animal? I'm just very curious about this. It's very interesting.

Jan 28 2007, 10:19 PM
um... number one... what is the yellow "blood" exactly?? is it blood? because if it is then there is something wrong! and number 2 if he uses slide down door traps how did it die? did someone shoot it? cause that is what the picture shows.

It also looks more like the picture was taken in a cave or on the moon's surface (assuming it isn't a vidcap, that is). I don't know which would surprise me more at this point.

Honestly if you really had an unknown creature caught in a trap...
A) it would be alive
B ) you'd take it straight to someone in the know to find out what it was (after getting hundreds of piccies from all different angles).

Because the picture is of appalling quality and simply looks fake. If I caught something in a trap in my backyard and could not identify it I wouldn't put up a murky pic on a forum I'd be out contacting cryptozoologists and making a huge noise until I got to the bottom of it. Are you doing that?
