Taken by a Norwegian fisherman about 20 meters away from the shore with his cellphone.

My sense of perspective says that would have to be absolutely HUGE if it were real.

It's physically impossible for something that large to rise from the very edge of the shoreline without it's body being visible.

I'd have to agree. There would be a body visible where the neck meets and it would be enormous in perspective if it were taken by a camera phone; also look at the extreme angle the neck is contorting as compared to the shore.

Whats the thing at about eye level? it looks blurry, and I can't figure it out.
Seaweed, or a strange ear, or something?

The picture is so blurry that the object could be anything. It could be a hand puppet for all we know. It actually bears a bit of a resemblance to the faked Loch Ness Monster photos.

Looks like the slightly curved handle of an oar/hurley/hiking stick propped up to a wooden fence (the 'shore' at the bottom) with the mountains in the background. The picture was taken from the other side of the fence, and this is just a cropped piece with a bit of digital zoom. No sea monster.

I
totally see what you're saying!
At first I was thinking you could put a curved bit of stick between the slats of a picnic table and get down to eye level, very close to the camera, with the vast background and get a similar effect. But I like your theory better.

Well, what I can make out is an eye and a mouth...also a "fin" on top of it's head.
Looks like a toy of a Brachiosaur to me.

Cheap shot! The creature would've a spinal problem with it's neck bend on such a peculiar angle...

I was able to enhance the pic with photoshop. i think its a fake.

though I reckon this is fake i think the dark area at the bottom is meant to be the gunale(side) of the boat. It is 20m from sure so the water would be fairly deep I spose... Still looks like the gnarled head of a walking stick though. Was probably just a log they saw floating by with a root that from a certain angle looke like a head....

When I first saw the pictures, I thought, "It looks like an out of focus row-boat paddle handle". Either that, or it's the curved handle of a machete leaning against a board of wall.

That's an enhancement? It looks even more blurry than the original.

It looks like someone wearing boots jumped over the side of a seawall and the only pic they were able to get of them was of the leg.....GERONIMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

It looks like a hand, coming over the rim of a boat - as if someone were trying to climb back into the boat from the water. I'm going with totally fake, but it was a valiant effort on behalf of whoever took the photo.

Entertaining, at the very least.

Ah but don't you know? All cryptids have this built-in EMP device that makes all photo equipment go screwy so you can never, ever get a decent pic of a cryptid.
