Welcome to UM eleazaros. Interesting post, but it could be interpreted in a variety of ways. What exactly are you espousing?
The intent with my written words is nothing short of varying interpretations. The meaning drawn from the roots of my post is specific to each who reads it. The questions asked allow others to ponder the nature and power of their actions. However, to clarify... My beliefs- my spirituality- derives from questioning my surroundings, as I feel we all should. We grow, as human beings, from seeking elusive and even impossible answers. From questions that force us to ponder the very nature of ourselves we can discover our morals and strengthen our beliefs. My written words offer questions that allow me to ponder the nature of humanity: Will mankind continue down the path of genocides, wars, and many more despicable acts at the hands of power crazed men? Will the good people of every nation sit back and watch as the world tears it self apart as faction fights faction? At this point we can only answer those questions in terms of our hopes.
Yet the world indeed does lie on the cusp of change. At this very instant, in front of you exists a portal to the minds of a near uncountable amount of unique perspectives. Humanity now possesses a tool with such power that the implications are still not fully grasped. Communities are forming that know no bounds and survive arguments brought on by petty differences. This forum itself exemplifies my point as opinions and beliefs from every corner of the world are openly shared. These unprecedented meeting grounds breed a new mind for the younger generations, the very leaders of our future. I do not mean to imply that technology alone ushers in a new era, rather, for once, individuals are beginning to grow, to question, to learn, and to try to make a difference. I both see it and read it everyday; those throughout the world are spreading their words of hope to all that will listen.
And from this thought, an argument arises, one that I previously and cryptically proposed, is the changing world predestined? Are those that wish, desire, and perhaps act to unite the world, destined to do so? Will these younger generations, prodigies of our own time, commit themselves to peace outside of the confines of virtuality. And if this is predestined then by whom? Genetics...? God...? Or the illusions of free will that in actuality is fate itself? Simply put- More questions.
The product of my existence lends me to believe that this change is predestined. I also believe that my duty lies in spreading my ideas of growth, of hope, and of what can be to all those who will listen. I intend fully to share my most sacred values as well as make a difference in many many more ways. So without the cryptics I propose the question once more- Do you believe in destiny? Will you set out to make a difference? And will I see you changing the world?
I also thank all of you for a truely warm welcome.
