No cause then they would have to admit alien life. And you know what that means, a lot of angry religious people.

I think the saucer ships from Germany have designated the control group of world rulers since 1947.

With huge fleet that exist now the Worlds ships and aircraft could be wiped out in no time and no one the wiser.

lol this post made me chuckle, Lets say ET's exist and they gov knows about them and is keeping it under wraps... They would create SETI to distract the public... as for the money, its peanuts and who said that SETI doesnt have another secret underlying purpose. This is the problem if its a government conspiracy their is no limit to what they can change... so we can believe anything they present to us as face value

Nobody ever accused conspiracy theories of looking at real world data or reality in any way... I'm sure that you will see posts saying "Well, they pump money into SETI because it provides a cover for the REAL activities of NASA..."

Then the people that write that will scurry away, back to websites that show the olsen twins...

OMG - I just read the post above mine. It saddens me when I am that right.
