Serpent

Not sure if this has been posted before, but further to the topic of snakes eating 11 dogs and humans et al, thought this might be of interest. It's a wee bit gross, but it just goes to show that if a snake WILL attempt to swallow a big ol gator, I don't think a human would be any problem whatsoever. Sorry if the picture makes anyone barf...

crying.gif Poor snake! Ah well, he bit off more than he could chew. Nice find thumbsup.gif

I noticed the gators tail was the part sticking out, possibly he kept on fighting inside and ripped the snake apart? Or was the gator dead? Gator tails are pretty strong to begin with.

Yeah, it's been posted previously, but it's better that you started a new thread than if you were to necropost another, lol.

There have been several reports of very big anacondas killing and eating caimans in the Amazon basin. But only when they're so hungry that they're willing to risk their lives for food.

This was investigated by Natl. geographic. No the gator didn't burst out, It was already showing signs of be digested. The experts say, the gator was easy prey because it had an injurey probably inflicted by another gator. And then after the python ate the gator, it was attacked by anotehr gator that completely crushed its head and split open its belly.

But it is true that Anacondas occassionally eat caiman.

Yes rock pythons have also been seen to attack crocodiles in Africa.

Btw animals should not be capitalised.
