It is not worth a response. This stuff is just highschool chemistry, and I see no reason to explain the obvious.

What does that mean?

What little diving I've done tells me this ain't so. It's a bit thalo, but I think that's the interesting part. It might just as well be from whatever one calls those bacteria that colonize those vents. That would be pretty wild if they survived inside those cavities.
