haha i was sooo waiting for like the hornet to hit a trip wire and get sprayed with fire haha but that is neat.

Oh, that kind of hornet? I completely misread the title-

I thought 'Bees' was the name of a football team and Hornet was a name like- Miss Hornet.

i wonder how long and exactly how it took those bees to evolve that method of defense. mabye the bees would shake as a reaction to being scared or threatned and after time learned what tempeture to raise to without killing themselves.?

Japanese hornets wreak havoc on Europen Honeybees, so japanese honeybees have evolved this defense strategy.
30 hornets can kill 30,000 european honeybees.
