Looks like drum vibrations but only in lightning or plasma if you will.

So its a big round flat plasma driven air craft.

Hi fantasycat89,

Yes, these are very similar to the STS-75 tether UFOs. They're really just out-of-focus light sources, just like in the shuttle video. In the case of the shuttle video, the camera was focused on an object a long distance away (the tether), so the brightly-lit particles near the shuttle were out of focus. In the case of this video, it looks to me like the lights are far away (stars, airplanes, etc.), but the camera is focused on a point much closer.

It's easy to duplicate this effect with a video camera or a still camera. Here are two pictures of the exact same scene, one with the camera focused on the distant house lights, and one with the camera set to focus on an object very close to the lens:

great demo perycinthyon. I always wondered why there would be two types of ufo's, discs and translucent semi-material ones. doesn't make much sense. Seems like it's a focusing problem.
