I just hope season 3.5 is better then the first part because to be honest the show got boring. A shame too since I really enjoyed the first 2 seasons.

You're right Jesspy I mean the first season was great and the second wasn't to bad, when they hit the third it almost seemed as if the writers had no idea what they were doing and simply trying to drag out the show. Very similar to the demise of the X-Files imo...

I don't see it getting picked up for season 4 if the show continues to be as boring as it has been for the first part of season 3.

The first and second seasons were phenominal. When i finally got the chance to sit down and watch them all i was utterly riveted to the TV for several days watching each and every episode.

The first part of season 3, well, meh. I saw where they were going with it, but really wasn't as interested as i was with the first two seasons. Which is a shame, i really waited a long time to watch it and felt a little let down.
The problem with the show is that it's soooo complicated, it fails to draw in any new viewers. And with that complicated story they're leaving open so many holes and failing to explain so many things, you just, well, get lost in it all.

well with all the talk about it ending it could be this year. It started sucking halfway through season two there were just too many storys to follow again i think it would hav ebeen better if it was a smaller plane that crashed or less survived. Less people less story lines less confusion more audience longer series more emmys and maybe a movie

Lol Burns, I was doin the same thing.. I saw the whole 2 seasons in like 3 days. I didnt want to watch 1 ep once a week, would of been too frustratin for the wait!

Tday Ive got up to ep 7 s-3, Im just wonderin if thats the latest 1 you can get online? Has any1 watched beyond ep 7?

seen some more episodes of S3 it still sucky even reading the plot summary to S3 Ep7 it still sucks. sorry but this show has jumped the shark
espcially considering there is more then one island and Kate doesn't know that Jack doesn't know that Juliet knows that Jack doesn't know that they're not on the original island anymore. And the fact that sawyer and kate break the tension by sleeping together and the fact that the Doc didnt repaetedly stab that dude with cancer on the spine in back while he was knocked out. and the fact that it doesnt follow up on story lines it started in season 2 or in season 1.
This show went the way of The X-Files....

Everything Lost had that appealed to me I now get from Heroes which might I add now trumps Lost in terms of ratings. Not to mention that Heroes tends to get through secrets a little quicker revealing more and more surprising plot twists like in the most recent episode. For those who seen the end of the latest ep you know what I mean.

Anyway Lost imo won't make it to season 4 at the rate it's going, and again it seems to me like the writers make it up as they go along simply to drag out the story.

Just watched the latest episode...I found myself skipping through certain parts because it'd become too predictable. And these flashbacks are becoming very boring...kind of like extended TV commercials...but less entertaining.

Speaking of Lost: has anyone else found some of the happenings absolutely ridiculous?

Let's go through a few some of the more obvious ones:

Killer black smoke that makes weird mechanical noises (seriously...it makes no sense).

A morbidly obese man that's spent more than a month on a deserted island who hasn't lost any weight (yes I know he kept food hidden, but crackers don't have that many calories - the producers could have stuck the guy on a treadmill to make it more believable, eh?)

Kate's armpits...smooth as a baby's butt. They found lady-razor's in one of those supply drops? Also, facial hair. I can't go a day without looking like Grizzly Adams if I don't shave and yet Jack and Sawyer have perpetual 5 o'clock shadows?

They might seem minor to you guys, but I can't watch the show without the above being glaringly obvious.

PS. I heard a rumor when the show first came out that the writers didn't expect it to take and had only come up with a few scripts and were unprepared. As a result, were frantically writting scripts pretty much the day it was filmed and continue to do so...or so I heard.

I agree but the same thing will eventually happen to Heroes too...sadly they drag these types of shows out. Like Prison Break.

Lost will make it to season 4...season 4 will be the season where they throw all the answers at us in hopes that more people will come to see how the answers play out.

They will probably drag the whole thing out to season five though. I think the writers have lost their vision and ABC is making them drag the story out.

I love Prison Break...the second season is twice as good as the first, though I think the first really didn't need to be 20+ episodes long...got to the point where the night of the escape ran for like 5 episodes and Burroughs was strapped to that chair so many times he got arse-burn.
