I have a group of Christian people before.
I left them because i went overseas.
My life was a little succesful than anyone of my Christian friend.
I am the only one who believed in Aliens and UFO's and they are all against it.
Why is my life luckier than them?

Because you have a more open mind?

I'd say because you're predisposed to believing in your own best interests. That's why you call them friends, and yet see yourself better off than they. Which would then cause one to wonder if they really had a friend in you, if you see them as less than.
But then again, I see this OP as a blog entry, so that's a personal opinion of a personal point of view.

I doubt it has anything to do with what you do or don't believe. It probably has more to do with the opportunities you have taken that they did not.

Luck seems to be a relative concept. does being lucky equate to owning more possessions, or having a higher-paying job. Is being lucky a matter of having experienced more of the world through travel than those who have never left their country? Or is lucky to be found in the joy one has at being with friends.
In future, you might like to expand on your ideas, discuss maybe one or two of these events that you feel luckier about. As it is, your thread borders very close to a blog-type post. I'll leave it open for now, though.

well.....if you want to look at this from a biblical stand point....in Ecclesiastes chapter 3 verses 18-21, it states that God will test man to show them they are like animals...and to feel differently is pure vanity...SO...maybe on that fact alone....you aren't as vain as they are...OR..you just haven't gotten your turn yet.

I wouldn't say that your lucky, there no such thing as luck- good or bad, it's just how your see your situation. I'm open, but I don't believe in aliens and such.
I'll leave you with what my brother told me six years ago:
"You believe in creation but you don't believe in aliens?" I would like to know why you believe you are luckier than your friends, is it because you feel that you are more open? Or is that they don't believe in aliens as you do? I'm just curious that's all.

You're life is luckier than there's because you think it is.

what does luck have to do with it?
And what does belief in aliens and ufo's vs belif in a religion matter?
You went out and have done somnething with your life, while ( from the VERY limited data given) your friends stayed put.
Could you possibly explain yourself a little bit more?

could be you think that your luckier but in reality your not maybe they have something more than you do but your blind and are overlooking it...maybe luck is in the eye of the beholder..just in how you precieve it.could be that they are actually more lucker than you and your just trying to convince yourself other wise....could be your not as lucky..

I still have communication with some of my friends and few of them went overseas too. That's why i know i'm luckier than them. Why are some of them suffering from illness? and i am not. Their family life was broken and i am not and i have beautiful wife and two beautiful kids. And funny that i don't have to search hard for work, it's just came. I suffered too hard too before but i did accepted it in my heart while my friends were saying. "THIS IS A TEST FROM GOD" well...how many times will God test you? open your eyes my friend.

This is my Christian life story but I will try to make it shorter.
I was a choir guitarist to our Protestant congregations that compose of 50 choir members.
I dedicated my talent to serve God but you know I hate attending Sunday services that means they won’t find me on Sunday.
I am a Catholic who likes praying outside the church, by looking in heaven and talking to God.
I suffered a lot in my Christian life but I didn’t complain about it.
Coz I know Jesus never complain in His suffering.
I think God is crazy if he was testing my faith all the time.
Why? Because he knows I believed Him.
Overseas I accumulated more than 50 thousand dollars of debt because I gave up my job to take care of my 3 years old daughter.
You believe I stayed cool all the time?
It is sure death having that huge debt. I just talk to God. I will leave it into your hands.
The things that I can do I will do it but the thing that is beyond my control I will leave it to you. (sorry I’ll add more if I have time)
