Apparently, Greer planned to convene testimony if there was a presidential order to relax or manage the restrictions on those coming foward. Perhaps the testimony would have been behind closed doors.
Nonetheless, I watched one hour of the news conference, and nothing mentioned seemed restricted.
Perhaps it was all FOIA cleared, or cleaned up before the conference. I listened through George Filer, and then
Clifford Stone. Stone is living in confusion, talking about twelve "recovery" cases, and numerous alien bodies.
Nonetheless, all this worry about clearance seems to be much ado over nothing. The participants either relate personal experiences as radar techs, or as ex-officers waving FOIA documents around. There were two retired officers who mentioned their clearance levels, but the incidents they mentioned were standard UFO lore.
Some are interesting, but I fail to see the outlandish need to convene Congress for this. Unless it was an attempt to spout off about SDI- which, by the way, the Chi-coms are pursuing with idiotic zeal.
Frankly, Greer either chased an illusiory goal, or is lying about briefing the Heads of State and Pentagon brass he claims he did. This thing was organized, but lackluster, IMHO. So much so, that he could not have been disinforming or running a sting for any agency. It leads nowhere, except as an attempt to expose "free energy" technology- something Greer claims exists.
Actually pretty much what I stated about Greer. He is re-hashing old hash. Since 1999 +/- to today - there is NOTHING new he is talking about - it is the same "chicken dinner" re-served w/different POV's.
The Top Secret Clearance stuff was to show flaws and concerns about the truthfulness of their claims. But if you actually DO LOOK at the claims - it's nothing 'News Worthy' - basically what it comes down too - $$$ For Talk - They'll tell you what you want to hear!
