hi guys im new here, this is my first post. Anyways me and my girlfriend saw a strange sighting in front of her house last Thursday. First let me say i live in Brownsville, TX and it was at night at 9:05 give or take, my girlfriend pointed out what i thought was clearly the planet jupiter, which is strange because, when i first saw this "planet" was about 6 months ago, it seemed to appear out of nowhere, and i was suprised becaused i asked my mom and she told me it was a planet since it is much brighter and larger than a regular star. My girlfriend said "whats that? its an OVNI!!!" (ovni is spanish for UFO) She was only joshing me of course and i laughed and told her it was a planet, then once again jokingly she said "It dissappered! just kidding" I told her to stop messing with me, but as i looked at it again, we noticed it started to fade to blue and to both our amazement it dissappered right in front of our eyes...we looked to see if maybe a cloud pased in front of it, but it was a clear night, we were both amazed and just thought it was not possible for planets to dissappear. We couldnt believe it...then tonight i was with my girlfriend again at the gas station to get some water for my parents, as we stepped out of my car we saw the same "planet" again. We watched it for a bit and decided to go inside and see if its still there when we come back, we came back after getting the water and i had forgotten about it when my girlfriend yelled "Holy sh** it moved!!" And sure enough it did, very slowly of course across the night horizon, we started driving home, and when we arrived we decided to get on the roof and have a better look at it and possibly video tape it, but it was gone... i believe the time was 7:15 pm at the station and 7:28 by the time we got on my roof. Sorry if this is kind of long but i felt like this was worth posting, i do not believe it to be extraterrestrial or military etc.. We just couldnt explain it, maybe you guys have had this experience and can help out, thanks!
