Wow I wonder if we find the theory of every thing?

So what exactly woud hapen if you go to the past and kill your ancestor woud you die or not?

This reminds me of the movie 'Back to the Future'....

The "Superstring" theor uses this picture to demonstrate a propsed 10 dimensions:



Definitely hard to wrap your mind around. Three spatial dimensions and a time dimension are all we are aware of, but The Big Bang was suppsed to have collapsed the other 6. The problem with the theory is that it is untestable. Seems like this whole area of science is more about theory than proof. Guess that is what makes it fun...anyone can speculate about it because there isn't enough out there to disprove much of what can be theorized.

This too reminds of a short science fiction story I've read. Two identical twins grew up one hating the other badly due to personal reasons. The hating twin, somehow, could go back in time to the past, where he and his twin were toddlers. He, then, got a knife and stabbed his unaware brother. Ironically, it happened to be that he had mistakingly killed his own body being totally identical to his brother's. In a couple of minutes, the killer twin found himself shrinking and shrinking, until he finally disappeared.

I am currently reading Michio Kaku's book Parallel Worlds. Interesting reading and hard to get the head around. So far it sounds plausible.

This always confused me because if you killed your ancestor and then you died,you wouldn't be alive to kill your ancestor in the past but if you don't die,
then you still kill your ancestor and.... .

Well I think I know if you kill your ancestor before you are born you won't die beacuse I think there are paralle universe and sense you went to the past and you kill your ancestor but you won't die beacuse at the time you went to the past you went to a diferent paralle universe. THEN your past can not be change
in other words if you go to the past to change your life when you come back to the present you won't see any change that you have made during the trip to the past but you did make a change to the other you in adiferent universe. I hope that helps
