Okay, so i don't turn up here often but whenever i do I'm put off by the immaturity both on the forums and in the gallery with the constant "FAKE, OMFG, WORST PHOTOSHOP EVER!" without even looking at the damn thing and taking in the facts. It's as if everyone forgets basic logic and just goes looking for things to prove or disprove unnecessarily.

An example of this annoying spam:

QUOTE( "What is this thing?" topic)

Sorry to say this but looks like its done in photoshop!!!
Firstly your "thing" has no shadow like the rest of the piccie!!! Or am I mistaken???
Is it on the sand or is someone or something holding it up????
Surely with your find you mustve taken more piccies????
Post more so we can see and be sure tis not done with a grafix program.

And it really annoys me when i see it in the image gallery. It's like, no one's got anything to say so they post "FAKE!" in response to everything. Whilst it may or may not be fake, most of the time it's in response to something very real and explainable just in the wrong context. If you think somthing's not real, say why and say what you think it is instead.

It's annoying. Do stop it.

Ok you came here to vent....Maybe this would be better in your blog sense it's not about a crypto......

I agree entirely, and this is something that will be addressed in the upcoming gallery revamp.
It's very annoying when people just post 'FAKE!!' in response to every picture in there.

In the meantime however, it's something we're going to have to put up with.
