Full Version: I engineered a new language

Ashiene
Hi all, for the past few months I've been creating a new language from scratch and now its grammer and sentence structure and alphabet are complete so I'm releasing it to the public. I didn't expect this to turn out so great coz when I first started it was for fun only, but now I realize that this has potential to be a really interesting language. I've been working alone, but I did some testing with friends and we spent about 30 minutes speaking in this language only to try finding all mistakes, so now I've fixed all the errors and there's about 200 words in the vocabulary, with more to be added each day. Here we'll learn this language (if you're interested), and we can speak it together. Ask questions where necessary and please memorize the guidelines. Let's begin!

Sentence Construction Table:
|| Subject || Action/Questions/Feelings || Objects/Numbers||

POINTS TO NOTE (GUIDELINES):

The Language is divided into 2 forms of writing:
The Written Alphabet which contains the 26-letter alphabet and
The Symbolic Alphabet which currently contains 43 symbols.

[NOTE: For more than one naming word group, use ';' before the second, third and fourth naming word groups.]

[NOTE: Mas Sa-ra (1st group); Sa-ra mas (2nd group); Each group is called a sub-sentence.]

[NOTE: If two/or more words are conjoined together with more than a single '-',
Remove the dashes where necessary until you are left with one dash.
Example: 'Si-shor-a' is redundant so 'Si-shora' is enough.
But, the former is still correct.]

[NOTE:
questions only (used for a question only)
declaration only (used for a sentence without a question)]

[NOTE: naming words must ALWAYS be at the beginning of every new sentence if they exist.]

[NOTE: Particles (placed as an extension after a word), Bridges (placed between two words)]

[NOTE: The dash in each particle can never be removed.]

[NOTE:
Sa-ra mas (used when 'you' precedes 'me') [Sa-ra mas Iko-wa. (you me love) = You love me.]
Mas sa-ra (used when 'me' precedes 'you') [Mas sa-ra Iko-wa. (me you love) = I love you.]

PARTICLES:

-ta [particle; possessive; when placed after a naming word, it becomes possessive,
and the naming word is no longer considered as one, thus no ';' is required before it.
Example: Sara-ta (yours), Mas-ta (mine), Maseh-ta (ours), Sada-ta (theirs),
Sheni-ta (his), Sheniri-ta (hers)]

-ki [particle; used to mean 'from'.
Example: Si-jaronga-ki? (Where are you from?) which is different from
Si-jaronga? (Where are you?)]

BRIDGES:

uhn [bridge; and.
Example: this and that, you and me]

ras [bridge; at.
Example: at the concert, at the school]

nes [bridge; in.
Example: in the house, in the ground]

Si-sha-ta kari-dei would be correct but remember to put a question mark (?) at the end since its a question.
This would mean, How are you?

Mi-sharin Za-sha would mean 'Attractive Female' but including the word 'dana' is weird,
because 'dana' is NOT mate as in, a buddy or a friend.
Dana is more like, a girlfriend or boyfriend, that sort of mate.

Try this instead:
Si-shata kari-dei? Sara-ta avatar mi-sharin za-sha; mas ka-ran.

This translates to:
Greetings, how are you? Your avatar has an attractive girl, my friend.

What's the word for "is"?

There is no 'is' in this language.
For example, to say 'This is my friend', you simply write:
This my friend (Eri-shi mas-ta ka-ran)
