very interesting. i've heard of the Phoenix Lights countless times, and it has been the most intruiging UFO sighting to me. i was living in Phoenix at the time of the Phoenix lights, but sadly i was around 6 at the time, so i was probably in bed at the time of the sightings. Plus i was on the other side of the valley (or that's what my parents want me to think)
FTW
even the governor at the time has come out and believes it was a UFO sighting, very interesting event wish I could have been there
Theft
Hmm this is the first time I have heard of this (I suck) but I will definately look into it. original.gif

The lights in that video are flares dropped from an Air National Guard plane. It has been proven.

Well Its true...I live where they were seen, and it didn't just happen once..Its been several times and they were not flares..Yes there have been times there were flares in the area but this was not flares..It may not have been allien or it may have..this I do not know..Our own military may have something new kept hush hush...I've lived in the area for 11 years now and no one has been able to give us an answer..The air force people there the night they got all the calls were stumped also..They sent their jets out and didn't have answer either so they say. Like I said this has happened more then once. The country has heard of the one time only. I'm sure I will see them again..

Since I have seen what I think are related to the 'Pheonix Lights' I keep up on the topic at hand. And I do not recal there ever being any 'proof' Could you please provide the source that has this 'proof'?

I've seen videos of the Phoenix Lights on Sightings & Unexplained Mysteries and even Unsolved Mysteries.....from what I've seen in those videos certainly don't look like flares to me.

I thought it was "proven" that the Phoenix Lights could not have been flares dropped from military aircraft. Wrong color, spacing, duration... wrong everything. I'd be open to seeing some film of any military flare-dropping exercises that looked anything like the Phoenix Lights. Should be easy to get if it's true, and it would definitely close the case.

Not true jim 88 the natinal guard said there was no plane flying over that area.
Some fighters were scrambled and they release flares because over a new plane being tested.

It's a very interesting video. I have heard of the Phoenix lights before, but don't know much about them. It doesn't look like flares to me either; it's hard to say what the lights were.

Well I have an experiment involving these 'lights' Or what I consider to be the same thing. And so far my sucess rate has been rather high. So for everyone involved I will give instructions on how to see your very own pheonix lights...

**DISCLAIMER**
I am not saying that this is 100% correct, I have just noticed that when I (or others) do this that the lights tend to appear...

Well where to begin, around 1997 I started seeing these lights. Off of the top of my head I can remember 6 different occasions that I witnessed the lights. In addtion to those I can think of 4 that my friends (doing what I am about to tell you) also experienced the lights. So off of those numbers it looks like the odds are in my favor right? Nay, I have since tried to do this but I no longer have the 'power'. However, my friends still can (and most recently Last week) witness the lights. So without further adeiu...

If you dont want to read then all you have to know is, TALK ABOUT THEM! Of course nightime would be the better choice, and outside the place. I've noticed that they tend to appear anytime from 9pm - 11pm I have not ever seen one earlier, or later than that. How I get/got them to appear, this might involve reading on your part, so you know what to talk about. Run a search for the "Prophet Yahweh", get a good idea of who and what he did. Of course I assume you know about the pheonix lights, but if not more reading...

(You have to have something to talk about)

Then, with a person/friend who has NEVER HEARD OF THEM. While you chat with your friend, tell him who the 'prophet' is, and about that escapade. Talk about the phonix lights as well, and include any experiences you may have had with these lights already. Of course do all this outside, and with a CLEAR VIEW of the WESTERN sky. Everytime they appeard whilst doing this (all 6 + 4 times) it was within 5 to 10 minutes of talking about them appearing. I will say that part again...

Everytime I talked with the person about the orange lights and how they appeared, within 10 minutes of ENTERING this conversation they appeared. It was getting to the point to when I would talk about them I could point to the area of sky just in time to have them start thier blinking. Check my other posts to see how they appear(ed).

(Time for skeptic pants)

Now, I have 2 thoughts on what these might be. Both lack proper research so I will just type them, I am NOT saying that these are what the lights are...

1. The sun reflecting off of something in the atmosphere, because of the frequency and color of the lights, not to mention WEST sky at night. (maybe real swamp gas?)
2. UFO (Not neccisarily aliens, but Unknown and Flying)

Either way, I have friends come up to me this day (like I said most recent was last week) saying...

"Anthony! It worked! We were talking about the 'yahwehs' (my pet name for them) and five minutes into me explaining they started to appear!"

So, give it a try. Worse comes to worse, you get to share a fun story with a friend.

*sidenote*

They stopped appearing (for me) when I started my video business. I like to think it is because 'they' know I can (and will) film them. But everyone likes to think fancy thoughts now and then, even us skeptics original.gif

**EDIT**
Come to think of it this needs to be it's own thread, so please go to it to respond to this. Want to see your very own Pheonix Lights?. Sorry OP, didn't mean to sidetrack sad.gif

Saw this in a documentary myself, too. I certainly don't believe entirely with the 'sound' explanations given against this occurrence as a UFO.

There was also this case of flickering lights that Mexican Airforce pilots reportedly saw gliding alongside them at night, and certainly flying with them. It was undetectable on radar. Later investigations in day light, where investigators followed the jet's flight path, pointed out that what the pilots saw was actually an oil rig, a platform burning off excess oil. I find that a bit hard to believe as well.
