For a while I have been considering making some changes. What I am thinking of doing is splitting the single thread into several different threads (as is already the case with the Cassini mission). no posts will be lost in this process and I will provide links to the other threads at the start of each of the new, smaller threads to ensure that finding a post is still easy.
My suggestion is this six smaller, more manageable threads
- Mars Express - images and results from ESA's Mars Express mission.
- Mars Global Surveyor - images and results from NASA's MGS mission.
- Mars Odyssey - images and results from NASA's Mars Odyssey mission.
- Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter - images and results from NASA's MOC mission.
- Mars Phoenix Lander - News from NASA's new lander to be launched later this year.
- Exploration of Mars - Any new discovery about Mars which is not specific to one mission or is from Earth based observations. This will also include news on proposed future missions.
If you are a reader of the Exploration of Mars thread your input would be welcome. I will leave this poll open for a month. I will use this poll for guidance rather than a binding decision. If you have any suggestions of your own please feel free to post them.
Thank you,
